I know no one is going to read this, but I’m desperate enough to try. One of my kittens got rushed to the emergency vet today and was ultimately diagnosed with panleukopenia, the cat version of parvo. I’ve applied for and maxed out all the credit lines I have to pay for his treatment on the chance, even though it’s small, that he may pull through. I couldn’t just end his life like that. He’s only 4 months old. Please, if anyone can donate to help pay for his vet bill, it would be beyond appreciated. They’re quoting 6000 total atm, and I’m able to pay 4k myself. It’s the 2000 difference we’re struggling to find after I was just out of work for a month for my own surgery.

🤩 - Is there any symptom/torture tactic/snz trigger that you haven't portrayed or seen yet that you'd like to try?
Oh god, probably, but I'm not sure what it is. I've been writing and drawing snz fic/art for so many years now, and I keep trying to think of one I haven't used yet that I also WANT to. But most of the ones I haven't used are because they're not to my preference.
I feel like this is the kind of thing I need a list for where someone's like "which of these have you written/drawn" and then I'd know if there were any on there that applied, haha.
I find his whole character arc really interesting and compelling. I like that he has so many layers and that he's not a "perfect" victim, and the pieces of his backstory that we've gotten so far have had me dying to know more about his past and his life as a human.
He's unapologetically kinky. I just admire that, like hell yeah, be your kinkiest and sexiest self, you deserve it.
He's actually really kind and thoughtful, and I've loved watching him be able to show that part of himself through the hotel. Like being able to make space for that version of himself and trust everyone enough to be that person without making jokes. I just love seeing his vulnerability come through and being able to see that he's a sweet person who cares about his friends.

He's allergic to peppermint.
He doesn't like being sick alone, so he'll often migrate to the hotel lobby or lounge to have company while he's sick.
His nose has a sneeze button, so if someone pokes it, especially when he's sick/sensitive, he's pretty much guaranteed to sneeze.

This is gonna be so basic, but Angel in comfy clothes with a cold. I remember some old lore about how Angel actually likes wearing comfy clothes or something like that, so I imagine him fully leaning into that when he's sick. Like big oversize sweaters and t-shirts when he's not feeling good, cozy sweatpants, sneezing into the sleeves of said oversize sweaters/hoodies....It's almost like a tell for him, like he walks around the hotel in his comfy clothes with a box of tissues under one arm (in like, a Fat Nug/gets tissue box holder) and can't figure out why so many people are steering clear of him until he sits down at the bar and Husk is like, "Maybe 'cause no one wants your cold."
Angel coming to work with a cold, even though his nose is acting up really bad. He thinks he'll be fine—he's worked through worse and he can fake it for the camera—but he forgot about the makeup. He gets in the chair, and the makeup artist gets to work on him. But all the powder and general face touching gets to him real fast, so he's sniffling and trying to hold back sneezes pretty much immediately. The makeup artist keeps having to pause while he hitches and keeps asking him to hold still and try not to sneeze or his makeup will run and then they'll have to start over. He does his best, but it doesn't matter. They're just over halfway done when he dips forward with a harsh and unrestrained (and uncovered) sneeze. He hopes it's just one, but of course it isn't, and after a handful of them, his eyes are watering and his mascara is streaming down his face. They do, in fact, have to start over, and now that he's broken the seal, it's even harder to hold them back.
Yet another basic thing, just soft Hus/ker/dust cuddles while Angel is sick. Angel wants company when he's sick, so he goes down to the bar and drapes himself across the counter and asks Husk for a hot toddy. Husk gives it to him, but Angel falls asleep on the bar and just kinda stays there until Husk is done with his shift. At that point, he carries Angel upstairs to his room and cuddles up with him in bed, making sure he's all cozy and comfy, and Husk falls asleep with him (which is how Angel wakes up the next morning, with his face in Husk's chest).

💓 - What is your favorite thing about this community?
I think it's probably everyone's OCs and talking about OCs with people. There are so, so many people here who create amazing characters with deep and interesting stories. Like, everyone whose OC work I regularly read, I would read it with or without snz because the characters and stories are so compelling to me.
I just appreciate how many people here are in it for the joy of sharing. We're all out here sharing free art and stories about fictional people! And I always get so excited when I see someone whose work I love has posted a new thing.

🐑 - What scenario are you currently thinking about before bed?
Oh god, I rotate between so many. Right now, it's one of my OCs helping friends move house while he's sick. He moves a bunch of heavy things and then falls asleep on his friend's couch by mistake while everyone is eating dinner and talking around him. He doesn't wake up until the next day when his friend is making breakfast. OC tries to get up and help with unpacking, but is told to lie back down and eat his soup. At which point he accidentally falls asleep again for like the entire day. (It's way more detailed than this, and I'm half tempted to write an entire fic about it.)

It was the blue forum, I'm so sorry to disappoint, hahaha. I mean, I guess technically maybe it was like...fanfic dot net? I'm pretty sure I was reading snzfic there before I joined the forum. Like, it's where I discovered that snz was a kink and then got super invested in finding more stuff. But idk, I probably interacted with it on deviantart or something too when I was a teen
🤧 - Do you prefer stoic characters or characters who complain?
Why would you make me choose between two bad bitches like that......I like both for different reasons, and only a certain type of both. Idk if I'd say I like stoic characters, but I do like characters who overdo it and then crash, as well as characters who are unapologetically not feeling well and say it. I do tend to prefer characters who aren't, like, over the top or super needy about their complaining, though! Like I enjoy a character who honestly just bitches about it and has a bad time.
👤 - Describe your current favorite character (including OCs)
Oh man, my favorite characters right now ARE my OCs, who I'm not gonna name, but I CAN describe like, vaguely who they are (and perhaps some snz details)
W: An EMT with a bunch of tattoos (or there will be a bunch when I figure out what they all are) and several piercings. He comes across as responsible, social, approachable, and put together, but it's only because he's used to cleaning up people's messes. He sneezes from his chest (not a cough snz, but you can tell it's coming from a little deeper than his throat, ykwim?), and stifles around people most of the time. No allergies, works through illnesses until he crashes and then sleeps for days at a time to recover.
J: A tattoo artist who's had a rough life and is kind of a mess of a person. Lots of scars, tattoos, and piercings. Impulsive and careless, acts before he thinks. Comes across as a fun, social, and wild, but is also depressed. He sneezes loudly, unapologetically, and often forgets to cover. Doesn't pay attention to his own body, so often doesn't realize he's sick until he's practically on the floor. Has nightmares when he's sick.
