oh i just used to adore Degrassi that was one of the best shows! it’s been so long since i’ve seen it but i used to absolutely adore it if i’m being honest. it honestly started to make me feel old to think about how long it’s been since i used to watch it!

I feel like it’s still in the top ten of best kids show honestly..and they really went there. I’m sorry for making you feel old.

I’ve really got to catch up on my shows.  What is Julie and the Phantoms?  How did Season 1 do?

It’s a netflix show, about a band who dies in the 90s eating bad street dogs, then come back 25 years later to help this girl find her voice in music again...and then having the band open for you actually. 

i might be a fool to never have seen. have heard of it of course. but sadly it wasn’t really big where i’m from. yeah well oversharing is one thing. sometimes you’re just really passionate about some things. and sometimes it’s just shit when people don’t care about it at all. oh tell me about it. it’s ruined my sleeping schedule, that’s for sure.

Well, the last four seasons are on netflix, but if you looking for the rest it is on youtube if you wanted to watch it or have the time to watch it. 

The boys use it to stay in touch with their cousins so really its only them posting goofy things for friends and family. But yes I do keep an eye on what they are watching and they don’t get to be on it without letting me know.

ah okay, i feel like that is most kids, but i would hate for something to happen. sorry if i stepped on any toes saying that. 

Why did I have to grow up in Maine instead?! God damn it. Nothing ever happens in Maine. Half my FYP is still Unus Annus stuff, though, so I guess it’s not all bad. 

Maine is just like south Canada, plus Maine has some of the best settings for horror stories. Don’t i remember yourself and Mark saying about not uploading things after unus annus ‘died’???

 I feel like weird when I talk about it now. I’m usually like barely ever talk about it… but got to start from somewhere, right?  it was a weird time for me. haha, awe that’s sweet! I thought I was just annoying in the movie, but I’m honored now that someone found me cute in it.

Well, thats fine, i wouldn’t be talking about the degrassi things if it wasn’t on my tiktok. so i feel you on not talking about it.

What did you end up eating? If you don’t mind me asking. Okay, it’s not even the fact that they aren’t in Greendale anymore! It’s the fact that they went out the way they did! I just find it–inappropriate? I suppose that’s a good way to put it.

Well i started with something healthy, but i ended up ordering pizza half way in. maybe less than half way in. very true, like they could have had just one of them die leave it opened ended still. 

I only know what those words mean because my two young sons have tik toks.  Does that mean Ryan Reynolds was on it?

I hope they are both over 13, cause if not i hope you’re at least moderating them on there. there some creepy thing that can end up on there. I think he was one of the very few who didn’t start on there.

it does sound like the perfect place to kind of start your career then? i mean, all of those people you’ve mentioned have certainly spiraled off in to fame. is there such a thing as knowing too much? heck, then i’d say i know too much about too many shows- and i’m not in a single one of them. tell me about it. sometimes i find myself up til 4 AM just looking through videos. damn tiktok.

I mean it was until it got canceled unfortunately. I don’t think there is but when you get talking about something and the other person just doesn’t care though. I end up falling asleep scrolling tiktok by like three am

My dude, that’s a lot.  I don’t know if I can go that far back, but maybe the Next Gen.  I know a lot of people who started out there, so it might be fun to see.  All the early 2000 styles or earlier.  I put it on a list and check it when I get back from a hop to London.  What are you doing now?  

next gen starts like 2001ish i think... Well i’ve been doing a little bit of travling waiting for Netflix to announce if julie and the phantoms are coming back for a season two or not

I had no clue you were in Degrassi, but I do gotta say I watched Julie And The Phantoms  a million times. Not a show I would usually like, but its special

It was only a small part, but thank you. it’s totally a show anyone is able to watch, it’s at least worth the shot to watch even if it’s not your cup of tea

I heard good things about the show.  I’ve never really watched it, but I was busy when it was on.  Hope that doesn’t make me sound like an ass.  I’m catching up on my stuff to watch.  What are you doing now?  

If you try and start to watch it, there is a lot, and i mean a lot. you could go as far back as The Kids of Degrassi Street, thats from like the 80s, i personally just suggest to start with Degrassi the next generation only cause you can find all of that on youtube, and the last four season of that is still on netflix.

have they really? i’m thinking the cast list must be endless then yeah? the fyp can be a scary place. the amount of time something pops up that literally screams ‘FOR YOU’ is daunting. then again, i appreciate the constant feed of pasta.

Well, maybe not every single one but it feel like a lot have. Like Drake, Nina Dobrev, Shay Mittchel was in one episode too. i clearly know too much about this show. It honestly can be, but at the same time, it shows me random ass shit that i never thought i’d watch but some of it you cannot look away.
