The pile of crates by her window had been disturbed, knocked aside by the storm, perhaps. Or a shitty old man who figured out our game. Dread curdled his stomach, but he’d come too far to turn back now; all he had to do was think about her eyes and desperate determination overrode everything else. He dragged the crates back as quietly as he could, wincing at the sound of wood scraping against stone, though the rain had grown so loud that he couldn’t hear when the window creaked open.

“Auruo?”

He looked up, blinking rainwater out of his eyes. Petra crawled onto the windowsill and leaned out, her bright auburn hair swinging over her shoulder as she reached to him, raindrops spattering the sleeve and collar of her nightshirt. The sight of her took him by the heart, her lovely features rendered nearly inhuman by the weak wet light; her skin bone pale, her eyes wide and wounded and desperately needful, as if she’d survived a thousand years of solitude.  “Hurry,” she urged, shaking her hand at him. “You’re going to catch a cold.”

She leaned further, and the wide collar of her shirt slipped down, revealing the tops of her breasts. His stomach jolted; it hadn’t even been that long since the last time he’d seen her naked, yet the sight always staggered him, chased by the heady realization that he could look, that it wasn’t unwelcome when they were alone. He gaped dumbly until she shook her hand again, more forcefully this time. “Come on.” He heard the smile in her voice, stitched tight between twitching lips.

Heart lurching, he clambered onto the precarious pile of crates and hauled himself through her window.

9 - General Physical Contact headcanon - Sasha likes to hold hands and Mikasa is pleased to oblige.  If they are walking around, they will hold hands or one will put an arm around the other’s waist.

At home, Mikasa likes to play with Sasha’s hair. If they are sitting on the couch or in bed, Mikasa will run her fingers through Sasha’s hair and tends to press her face into it when they are sleeping.  They also both like to wrap their arms around the other from behind. Kissing, hugging, Sasha curling up halfway in Mikasa’s lap, or slow dancing in the kitchen - it’s all part of their love language for each other.

Who’s the cuddler: Mikasa likes to be the big spoon. She likes to hold Sasha and press her face into her hair when she goes to bed. It’s comforting.  

Sasha likes to hold Mikasa’s hand and will hug her from behind.

Who makes the bed:  Mikasa will make it before she heads out for the day.  

Who wakes up first:  Mikasa works the 3-11 shift (and never gets home on time) so she is very much asleep when Sasha gets up around 6 in the morning.  Sasha makes sure the kettle is full of water and she sets a mug with a tea bag out for Mikasa for when she gets up.

Who has the weird taste in music:  It’s not even really Sasha’s music. Because she works with kids - Sasha has a lot of children music in her iTunes (think Kidz Bop) and if that is what is playing when there are no kids around - so be it.

Who is more protective:  Mikasa. She knows Sasha can handle herself in most situations but she is, by her nature, very protective of those she loves.  And saints help anyone who ever makes fun of Sasha’s accent.

Sasha always makes sure Mikasa has a plate of dinner waiting for her when she gets home so she can microwave it. Sasha looks out for Sasha by making sure she eats right and rests when she can. 

Who sings in the shower:  Sasha. She belts whatever song is stuck in her head that day.

Who cries during movies:  Sasha will cry and Mikasa will tear up sometimes.  

Who spends the most while out shopping: Mikasa makes more of the “big” purchases (TVs,  furniture, etc) so she would be the one spending the most at one time. Sasha does the little shopping trips so she probably spends the most yearly.

Who kisses more roughly:  Mostly Sasha because she gets excited. Mikasa can be rough if she and Sasha have not seen each other for a while. Sasha had to go away for about a month once and when Mikasa met her at the airport - Mikasa just about chipped Sasha’s front teeth.

Who is more dominate:  Sasha is relatively passive…until she is not. Sasha normally content to go along with Mikasa. However - if she sets her mind to something - it’s going to get done. Mikasa admires that about her and supports her 100%.

-Mikasa and Sasha like to go out to a karaoke bar at least once a month.

-They’ve only had one major argument and that was when they first started dating and it was over the fact that the two of them were so busy that they rarely spent any time with each other. After talking it over they figured out how to make the time and worked through the issue. There’s the occasional disagreement here and there but nothing too serious that would threaten the relationship.

- They tried sex with food one time, and it wasn’t anything they expected and did not enjoy it in the slightest.

-Mikasa and Sasha both like having dates wherever, whether it’s at home, an ice cream palor or the local pizzeria. As long as they’re together they’re happy.

-Sasha will hold Mikasa from her waist and lay her head on her shoulder when lounging on their bed before falling asleep or right when they wake up.

-They both like to garden and do have a garden on the roof of the apartment complex they live in.

-Mikasa loves Sasha’s accent and finds it quite endearing.

-Mikasa almost didn’t ask the brunette out because she believed she was dating Connie. And Sasha thought Mikasa was dating Eren. Armin was the one who actually set them up.
