There's a post going around Tumblr about how if you're post-menopausal and have bleeding, you should get it checked by your doctor. I brought some minor bleeding I'd had up in a doctor visit earlier this year, prompted by that post, and this week, after a biopsy, I found out I have cancer. It's early stage and the survival odds at 5 years are 99%. I have an oncologist appointment and we may have caught it early enough that surgery alone will be sufficient treatment (no radiation/chemo).

So that post may have saved my life and it may have made my treatment a lot easier too.

If you get into menopause and then start bleeding again, really, get your reproductive innards checked out. The life you save may be your own.

People are stupid. That’s the reason. A ridiculous amount of the world’s population believes that having to wear a mask is a form of oppression.

Common sense would tell you “hey, if I wear a mask I can’t sneeze/cough/breathe my germs onto other people! And if they wear a mask, they can’t sneeze/cough/breathe their germs onto me!”

But no. We live in a society where people would rather cause their own death/the deaths of others instead of doing something as simple as wearing a mask.

Water. 😔 I used to be drinking sweet tea every second of every day, but then the doctor called and said my cholesterol was through the roof and I needed to make some serious changes. Kind of crazy because I’m 5’4” and a healthy weight for a woman my age, so my doctor actually was a bit surprised when she saw how high it was, and then I told her about the sweet tea and also my addiction to eating raw cookie dough and Dairy Queen chicken strips and she told me I needed to change my diet asap or my heart would explode or something, and I kind of need my heart to live, so I changed up my diet and now I eat a variety of oats, legumes, fruits and vegetables, and occasionally some butter chicken or perhaps even a pasta. Anyway, that’s why I’m only drinking water. Don’t want my heart to explode.

The other day I almost got run over by a lady who was texting and driving. I screamed and literally jumped out of the way and multiple witnesses gasped in shock.

I should’ve just let her hit me. We were in the Costco parking lot AND she was driving a Benz. That settlement would’ve been massive.
