I love when little creatures who are entirely loved and well cared for have the BIGGEST baby reactions to normal things. Like yes sweet pea, you DO have the hardest life of anyone ever, for sure, and you’re SO BRAVE about this minor inconvenience of *checks notes* having some water touch you

There is nothing sadder and more pathetic than a baby marine mammal having to get into the water. They are suffering the most out of any baby animal ever. How dare they be introduced to their natural environment.

it’s a shame more vampire media doesn’t pull from vampire bat behavior because they’re such sweeties. they can only survive their incredibly specialized diet because bats will share blood with colony members that didn’t find a meal! there’s evidence that suggests the donors sometimes initiate this behavior themselves by approaching hungry bats! the colonies are mostly harems of females with a few males but they’ve been observed letting unrelated males in when it gets cold so they can all stay warm! cute little social critters!

It’s because this is good advice and he doesn’t want anyone else to get rich - especially in cash, because he can’t steal cash through the books that Big Balls et al. put in the national treasury system.

Thinking about how my grandfather used to sit behind me while I video-chatted with my girlfriend and he didn't understand "video calls" and told me that watching the same show all day would rot my brain. he said he could see this happening because of how happy and bouncy I got while I watching it

He complained to my father that I was becoming a lunatic because I would at times speak to the character on the screen

I think the most invested (negative) he got was when the character assembled furniture for two hours straight

The best part is that when he reported my deteriorating mental state to my father, my father wasn't aware I had a gf and thought he was referring to me animating. I was working on my thesis at the time so the logic cohered. so my father tried to explain the concept of animation (which my father also didn't fully understand) and why frames have to be drawn over and over. this one frame of a lady's face staring into the camera as she builds a home bar lowkey gaslighting my grandfather who then decided animation was making me insane
