A thing I really dislike about red/green flag discourse is when it’s used to label entire people (or characters) as either all good or all bad. A person cannot be a red or green flag, only their behaviors. Lots of good and kind people behave badly sometimes, and plenty of rotten people are capable of displaying good behaviors. Saying a behavior is a red or green flag does not mean we are categorizing an entire human being that way. Nobody is all one thing, it’s too simplistic a way of thinking about human nature.
