The first time Bucky met Tony was in passing. He’d been called to meet Howard in Stark mansion.

The Mafia boss preferred to distance himself from the jobs Bucky—the Winter Soldier—was hired for. He usually had his most trusted men handle communication with Bucky, or they spoke on burner phones, but with this particular hit Howard wasn’t taking any chances.

Bucky was leaving when he spotted someone watching him through a door left ajar. He’d felt their eyes on him long before he paused. Turning his head and catching his gaze, it didn’t take a genius to surmise it was Howard’s son.

He looked different than he would’ve imagined for the man—a boy, really—meant to follow in the family footsteps, because he didn’t have anything to go off. Howard didn’t display any family photos and from what he was aware of, he didn’t act as though he had much faith in his son.

Tony had been living in the shadows until a couple of years prior. Some had even doubted whether his son existed.

It was only a matter of time before I made them into pokemon trainers.
