Hello Dear Followers...I know I haven't been on tumblr in ages, and it would take a really long time for me to explain what my hiatus has been about...and I'm not entirely sure myself at the moment.

But, in honor of my imminent departure for graduate school at the brilliant University of California San Diego, I have made a new personal blog which will document my journey to La Jolla (driving with my best friend), and my subsequent years of graduate school as I work on my PhD in chemical biology.

The Renfrew Center offers free monthly webinars on various eating disorder topics. My accountability partner said we should both do it...so I'm attending.

The time will come  when, with elation  you will greet yourself arriving  at your own door, in your own mirror  and each will smile at the other's welcome,  and say, sit here. Eat.  You will love again the stranger who was your self. Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart  to itself, to the stranger who has loved you  all your life, whom you ignored  for another, who knows you by heart.  Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,  the photographs, the desperate notes,  peel your own image from the mirror.  Sit. Feast on your life.

It's a Friday, not much lab work to do, morning chats with great friends and coffee!
