Never thought I needed to see a video of a tortoise eating a red pepper but here we are 

White poinsettias can either look really newspaper yellow ugly or a nice crisp white. The difference is (mostly) temperature. Warmer temp = whiter color.

Unless you're Princettia Pure White:

In which case the white color is due to its parent, Euphorbia cornastra, which was has been hybridized with the regular ole poinsettia to produce pure white and bright pink color.

Princettia Hot Pink is another E. cornastra hybrid.

And so is Luv U Pink which retains more of a wild scraggly habit

Compared to the hybrid pinks, regular pink poinsettias look fairly dull but can still be very pretty.

Marble is another pink dude but with cream along the edge. Poorly grown Marble can look kind of washed out and sad... They also need high temps to look crisp and bright.

Viking Cinnamon is another pink and cream one but with a more splotchy peppermint look.

And another pink is Sparkling Punch. Which is the pink version of the classic Ice Punch

Which is one of my favorites when in full color. It's extremely bright white and red to the point that it's almost blinding to walk into a house full of them.

Glitter is a classic color, splotchy and lovely and full of speckles.

Picasso is like glitter but reversed. Looks like sneezed blood! We always struggle to grow them!

Wintersun White is another white which is darker leaved and kinda pointy. Serves mainly to make pulling orders difficult because none of the whites match!! Yay!! Just kidding i have a fondness for wintersun because it does not love to Die as much as White Star or Snowcap or Polar Bear and is not as ugly yellow as Freedom White. Wintersun is trustworthy and usually very handsome

Winter Rose Red is red and looks like a winter rose. That's it, send tweet.

Tapestry is a variegated variety! This will probably be my choice this year because I really want to try to get a poinsettia to live more than one year and variegation may make that tolerable. Though I tried last year and last year's crop had shitty roots so it died immediately of fungus but

Also, here's Maroon. I confused all my co-workers and every old church lady ever by calling this "Dark Red" in the flyer this year. Sorry old ladies, it's dark red and impossible to photograph just how dark it is.

And last but not least... It's red. Nothin better than a big ole pure red poinsettia. You may not have been lucky enough to stand in a greenhouse in December full of bright red as far as your eye can see. You may have only known grocery store poinsettias or other assorted poinsettias who have had to suffer through being sleeved up and trucked to your location. But let me tell you. The sheer beauty of a red poinsettia that has grown there on that very bench lovingly tended for the past six months... That's special babey. That's what it's all about.
