you ever get a got dam epiphany about why a character’s redesign bugs you so much so you go into an absolute frenzy to try and fix that problem? because uh. that’s what happened here.

90% of my problem with Dot’s ‘modern’ design is her colour palette being so not like Dot and i am INCREDIBLY mad at myself for not noticing that sooner. also don’t look too close at my edit (left) bc it is incredibly sloppy. i just needed to prove a point to myself alright.

(if you happen to like Dot’s newer design though, good for you! it just,, doesn’t feel right to me. but hey! whatever polkas your Dots, yknow?)
