I either am more active on Instagram, or more active on Tumblr. But I'm glad that I finally started posting on Instragram- It has been such a very big blessing for me.

I've got some news as well!

The reason I haven't been most active online is because I've travelled for vacation, and spent some quality time with my family. I always love hanging out with my family- For me, family is very important.

I've also been dealing a lot with my health- I am naturally very sensible, but I'm also very prone to having a lot of anxiety to the point I am paranoid of my health. It's either my breath being short, or my head hurting, or whatever else there is... Anxiety runs in my family, so yeah. I took one time Xanax, and honestly it has helped me, especially with my mind. Overall, I'm doing better!

Speaking of my mind, my scrupulosity has actually calmed down a lot, which I'm very grateful.

I've also been drawing a lot more traditionally! Though, I still need to buy that Strathmore Bristol Board 200 Series. Well, atleast I have my trusty pencils and inks! :-)

I've also am drawing digital stuff again, and yeah, I'm mostly tired due to this heat of the summer. I also started working part-time, so I'm hoping to save some money for any future purchases! (I LOVE SHOPPING)

It's not like things are going bad or anything, but, things just aren't the same as they used to be. I won't get in detail, but I want to say that, you always matter, and you're always loved. Sometimes I look at other teenagers like me and wonder: ''Wow, they have a lot of people and groups around them. I mean, it's not like they are friends with all the 70 different people they know, but... Why did I never have such a big group? Maybe I'm just an alien among them. Or maybe I just can't connect with anyone...

"...Or maybe, I just haven't found my people. And that's alright. There are always gonna be a lot of great opportunities in life, and many surprises that will either bring me light to my doubts, make me find new people that I never expected to find, or just give me a new sense, and find my purpose with a new strenght."

The thought doesn't make me too sad. Sometimes a lot, sometimes less- But because I know that I'm never gonna be alone. And, life is always full of surprises. There are always bright days ahead of me, but even right now, in this moment. I just have to keep being optimistic, and know that life is wonderful as simply as it is, and that it's important to always being kind, caring and curious. Sometimes it's fun to just- Go to some new unexpected places, or meet some new people that you may or may not meet again, or just order something unusual and pretty cool in a new restaurant. I'm stating simple things, but life is beautiful for its simplicity.

I decided to do a fanart about T2, since, on this fine afternoon, I felt my soul and mind saying 'TERMINATOR 2!!!'. So, here's my fanart!

I'm a huge fan of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. IT'S MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE MOVIE!! X)

Huge thanks to my dad for showing me this movie like a year ago. And honestly, now I enjoy watching movies more than I used to in the past. Movies are an art that I really appreciate so much too, it has a lot of creativity, originality, which is shows through background and characters that act in real life, a bit different from drawing on paper/digital. But both worlds are awesome.

Hey everyone! It's been a long while, and yeah, I know, I tend to post after lots of weeks, if not a month. Honestly, the one thing that I keep struggling on is that I am very insecure to post online, and I'm often very insecure of my art (even if I constantly try to improve, I always feel like I am behind. But, it's something that I' m trying to work, just like I'm constantly working on my drawings, on myself, on everything in life, really.

But I felt like today's a good time to reveal some art that I've done these weeks! Honestly, going back to traditional was the best choice ever. It wasn't too hard, since I already draw with an Apple Pencil on my iPad.

I wish I could talk more about my OCs, but honestly, I take a lot of time to complete a drawing, which is both a good and a bad thing in my opinion, since I feel like I should speed up a bit the process- ;-;

Otherwise, now that Summer has started in a while and I finally won't go to high school for 3 whole months, I'm gonna spend this whole summer drawing, listening to music, watching some David Finch and Ryan Benjamin tutorials (my favourite comic artists! Though I'm sure I will be able to find as well other amazing ones too <3), hangout once in a while with my dear friends, and try to relax on this lovely summer. X)

Ah, and I should try studying french. In these 3 years, I feel like I barely learned anything...

Journalism

A comic cover page that I started, and still didn't finish.

The theme of this drawing is: Journalism. Lately, I've been thinking and admiring the dear work of the journalists: after all, they're the people that try to show to the world, all of us, the truth, the lives of the many people around the globe, the stories. It seems like a very fascinating work!

And, to the very right of the page, there's Ben! :-) I still didn't introduce him, but yes, Ben is part of my story: CONSTANT SURVIVE. Specifically, he's the son of Man Hort Tenor and Milena. And specifically, he's the biological son. I won't explain too much of the whole family for now, I'll keep y'all without spoilers--!! X)

Even if it's not finished, I am very happy of this drawing. It looks absolutely cool. I feel like my skills on the Loomis Method have upgraded well, but I still struggle drawing the Loomis Method on different angles, as well as drawing perspective, really.

The perspective of the buildings on the left side is intentionally bizarre lol- But on the right, I think they're pretty good done.

Intution and Catarta

Since I'm very interested in the art of comics (I mean DC and Marvel), I tried to draw some people I wouldn't usually draw: superheroes.

I am honestly more focused on drawing real life characters: and by real life, I mean characters that are like us: humans, who have their lifes, their jobs, their own personal, beautiful and complex personalities, minds, dear friendships, Catholic faith and love. Basically slice-of-life stories.

I came up with the names! (I rarely search online for names for my characters, honestly).

Catarta and Intuition work as superheroes, yes! But they're also people too, with their own lifes, struggles and joys.

Catarta is more the calm type: she doesn't want to do anything too quickly, she thinks a lot about everything, while Intuition is very quick, confident, and honestly just wants to have fun and joke a lot. While Catarta may find Intuition annoying sometimes, and Intuition might think that Catarta is a bit boring at times, they care about eachother, and they're great buddies.

How I feel about reality sometimes too. I've been hurt and bullied a lot in the past. But now everything's better <:]

Specifically, as a study, I drew the lady from the cover of The Complete Witchblade Volume Three (I didn't read it, but the cover drawing was so cool I wanted to study the drawing!), and I did draw some people I found on Pinterest.

This is all for now! I don't really have any silly doodles, but I may post them one of these days. I feel like that could explain quickly the personality of my characters without taking months to make a comic page of my characters in their stories x)

(Altough, really, I should and make some comic pages. BUT I NEVER KNOW WHAT SIZE ARE THE MAIN BLEEDS IN A PAGE, AAH!!!)

I feel like it would be a great time to start posting on Instagram, but I am still very insecure to post there. I don't know why, but I feel like there are many artists way better out there... But in the end, every artstyle is wonderful, every art study is wonderful. I just tend to criticize myself a lot, I don't know why I am so difficult on myself. XP

Anyways, yes, hello!! I have a very irregular posting schedule, but that’s because drawing takes a lot of time for me— But I have many drawing ideas in mind! Here is a full-body drawing I did of one of my characters from one of my stories, CONSTANT SURVIVE. Altought Tenor is a very strong and confident man, he does have his own moments of sadness and doubt. But there’s always a bright Light that keeps his path full of hope…

It’s been a long week, I’ve also done a wonderful group project about Art History with English, so I’m feeling very content this week! :] Now two tests and three essays to go— (I’m super tired)

Clip Studio Paint | Skecth + Ink

Procreate | Colouring, Shading, Background

It’s my very first few times using Clip Studio Paint and I’m honestly very very amazed. Since I want to learn how to make comics, Clip Studio paint offers amazing tools and it makes me learn how to draw on bigger canvas. Also, an amazing thank you to #JimmyReyes for offering for free on his website a brush and two actual comic panels bases, so I can know what size a comic panels is best working on, and thank you to #DavidFinch for offering great tutorials in his Youtube channel. They make amazing art!!

And I feel like I’ll have to learn a few good tips from them. I usually draw the head on my own, I have my own set of rules and I often use reference, but I feel like I should learn better the Loomis method.

I don’t often post doodles, so here are some silly doodles I think are worth sharing. They convey deep emotions and perspective… (LOL—)

Okay, I will be extremely busy with high school stuff this weekend, since I have many tests and some group projects to do, so for now, I’ll show here a drawing that I’m still working on.

They’re a lovely married couple called Milena and Man Hort Tenor! <3 Part of a story called CONSTANT SURVIVE. I really wish I could work more on showing more about the characters’ emotions and personalities, but I’ll see if I can work on them these things later on, since I’m gonna be extremely busy at my high school. ;-;

I’m trying to clearly work on a much more realistic (as in realistic proportions) and comic style. Maybe I should start also buying some DC comics, I’ve gotten more interested in DC honestly, and I think I should also start drawing some characters, that sounds super cool :D

Hey hey everyone, and welcome back! Today I present you with an OC I made. So, meet Sir Johnson!

Sir Johnson is part of a second story that I made (and I’m still working on it) called SCRUPULOSITY. As the name states, this story focuses on scrupulosity, friendships, trying to live with peace and joy, because life is a blessing and a wonderful experience, and about honest, and beautiful, Catholic faith.

I still have to work on this story, I really want to maybe make some comic issues about it when I can find the time and the motivation, but I really just have a hard time starting making plots since, only this year, I actually started having a big passion for comics and I want to learn how to make better comics! I’m an artist, and I would really love to show some great messages with my art. And probably become a professional comic artist too! xD I’m gonna try and post soon some new art, as well as some art of my other stories.

On a personal note, I am a very happy Catholic girl. I’m also very sensible and get scared easily, and I honestly have developed scrupulosity. But luckily, this year it as gotten very less intense than it used to be last year, so I’m very happy about that. God is an amazing father, and honestly, Sant’Alfonso De’ Liguori had scrupulosity too, so he’s a relatable saint tbh

! So, Sir Johnson honestly is like a representation of scrupulosity. I mean, yeah, he is obviously a human being, and he’s very very scrupulous. But, even he learns slowly how to enjoy more life, and actually find peace in everything. Wortha, his best friend, especially helps him with viewing life in a more positive way, and help his anxious brain x)

I tend to add some emotions, and thoughts, in my characters, because honestly it helps me better on how to write them, draw them and how to represent what messages I want to show. And, well, messages that I would like to show, since writing stories and comics is pretty much hard. But these are things I really want to improve on, always!

I really don’t have a precise schedule for posting my drawings. So sorry about that. ;-;

But I can say that I’ve been practicing and improving a lot with my drawings. I feel like these months have been such an amazing artistic journey for me (Especially since I felt locked in with wanting to improve my art in February, and I’m very grateful to God for that.)

To make it short, here’s a selection of my drawings these weeks. I actually started drawing more seriously traditional art as well, and I’m very happy about that. I really want to be consistent with both digital and traditional art. And it is quite easy, since I already draw with an Apple Pencil! :-)

I’ve been chilling as well, and I’ve been listening to some podcasts and Youtube videos about art and comics, like Proko, Marvel artists and an interview of David Finch and Proko. Truly an amazing time. (Lately, my main art focus is comic style, sort of DC and Marvel level. It takes time, but I really want to accomplish that! Comic art is so nice and I love the idea of creating stories and drawing comics. Plus, I want to always draw human proportions right, I think that’s very fundamental).

There are some sketches about my characters, and the other image is a series of portraits I’ve done to practice drawing the face and all its details.

Below here, it’s a drawing I’ve been working for WEEKS, and it’s still incomplete. It’s a more detailed drawing of each of my characters, since I had this drawing idea in mind, and I hope it turns out good… There are in order Clark, R.G., Donna Smith and Jason. There are as well other important characters, but I think that these are the ones that appear the most in my story (which I still have to work on!).

I’d really like to make a comic out of them one day, but I don’t know when that time will be…

I often use references to get the details of the face right, I don’t really draw from imagination, because I really want to get the shape of the face right. I just want to draw faces good every time!

(Example below. Basically I’m making a third remake of R.G., and I have to finish drawing Clark. I also had to remake Donna, and I finished in one go drawing Jason. This is one of my most long-time-taken drawings, since my Procreate shows me that I’ve been working on it for 13 hours, and it’s actually been weeks…)

Anyway, I might actually start posting seriously in my Instagram too! But I still don’t feel so confident there… Maybe I will post some of my art in SpaceHey too, but I still don’t know. I really want to show my art online, and if it is something that brings me so much joy, then why keep that joy only for myself? It’s an interesting phrase that the priest said today in Easter while I was on Church, and I really felt that. Of course he meant to spread The Word of God, and I would like to do that someday too, with my drawings and comics. I think that phrase applies for anything too, like art.

I’m honestly often insecure of my art. I always improve, but I sometimes feel like that’s not enough. But sometimes It’s important to take a step back and look at the great drawings you’ve done and how much you’ve improved since the last years.

But of course, the number one fan of every artist is God, and that’s super cool!

Keep creating, artists! :-) I always like seeing new art, and I really am very happy when someone makes something new.

I take so much time to draw, so I don’t know when my next post will be.

Finally I’ve finished working on this portrait! I was looking for some references on Pinterest, and so I found this guy, lol

I’d say I enjoyed working on this portrait! I had fun and I think I improved on getting proportions right. I really find realism/semirealism a cool art style, and I hope that I can improve drawing in that style often! People are wonderful, but drawing them is hard lol (It really takes time to get face proportions RIGHTTT). I also had fun drawing some smiling faces, since I usually draw serious expressions xD

It’s all about practicing and improving, really. God has been giving me so much strenght and inspiration this month and I’m really glad that I decided to seriously learn something new and try to improve my art style. I’m trying to learn how to draw better realism, but I’d really like to learn how to make comics (with realistic proportions) too.

Ah, I’m also working on a new portrait! :)

It’s still unfinished, but I might be able to finish it soon, if I find some time and motivation-

I almost forgot to mention, I think I’ve managed to learn a few things when I started drawing these portraits! :D I usually would have started drawing without a sketch, but honestly, starting with a sketch has helped me a lotttt, and I’ve also switched drawing with brushes I wouldn’t usually use, like the pen brush, and I am so glad that I’ve tried new brushes!!

I also would like to learn how to draw background better, because I’d like to draw background that give that wonderful summer feeling. Something that I really appreciate is the summer sky, it’s just truly beautiful and it reminds me of Heaven!

Anyway, if there’s anything I have to improve, comment down your tips and suggestions, it’s always helpful! I’m also planning to post some of my OC's from my story R.G. And Donna Smith + Different AU (Yes, the story is called like that, I think I'll keep that name, I don't have any other ideas but I think it's a good name ^v^). This afternoon I came to check my Tumblr account and to tell you all that I have been busy with my high school and drawing. I've been drawing quite a lot and I have been focusing on improving my drawing art style. I have also been dealing with a lot of worries about my art, such as "What if it's not realistic enough, what if people think it's not good enough?". These have been the worries that didn't let me rest and also didn't give me peace and confidence to post my drawings online for a long time. But I am slowly getting back the confidence in knowing that I have my own art style, and improving takes a very slow time. But I also need to remember that with each piece of art that I draw, I will always improve, one drawing at a time.

I've also been thinking about starting posting my drawings more online, especially on my Tumblr and on my Instagram. I've been drawing some portraits and also my OC's from my story R.G. And Donna Smith + Different AU (Yes, the story is called like that, I think I'll keep that name, I don't have any other ideas but I think it's a good name ^v^). In short, it's a story about simple human people where it talks about Catholic faith, friendships, marriage and the simple beauty of life, filled with joys and sad times, because that's human.

I'm not sure when I'll post my new drawings, but probably tomorrow or in some days! (I can say for sure that I won't post consistently, as it takes me a lot of time to draw xD)

I used to draw in IbispaintX before, but Procreate has been such a good change and I'm very happy that with its amazing brushed I got to upgrade my art better! And honestly, my drawings on Procreate have more light, which is an amazing change!

Welcome brothers and sisters in Christ! :] Today, I just took some time during my job to draw a casual drawing of a lovely married couple I have made some time ago. (I just like drawing new OCs eheh xD)

Meet R.G. and Donna Smith, a married couple of bikers who go around towns and mostly work in Neveltone City.

I still have to add some epic lore but, that's the hardest part! :P (I just can't come up with ideas so easily for a lore T-T)

Anyways, I've been in general trying to practice some realism, face structures mostly, and figure out what to do this summer- xD

And so, I decided to post an old drawing I made of Lara Croft based on Tomb Raider: Legend. I've started the game on my new PlayStation 2, since I bought it around a week or so, and I've been having fun playing Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Over The Titans! I bought Resident Evil 4 too, but that's too scary for me-

Anyways, if I have enough strength, I might make a re-make of this drawing, or just a new drawing in general. After all, I've got all summer, so what a good way to have a chill time! :)
