what i thought: there was lots of old people in this restaurant. the waitress avoided me because my nails were painted. this is a well documented phenomneom but biscuits are definitely something different in this country than my country

what i thought: i know this isnt technicaly a restaurant but drinks were 50 cents so it gets an honorable mention. there was a crate of mayonnaise but i didnt try that.

what i had: burrito. do they make other things?

what i thought: the logo is a chilli pepper but there werent actually any chilli peppers you could have in the food? i enjoyed the dainty red basket

rating: 3/5. guess burritos just always taste good, no matter what theyre made of. i think the chipotle burritos were made using some kind of food product but im not sure.

sonic drive thru

what i had: loaded chilli cheese dog’ fourht of july baby!! happy star wars day

what i thought: very inconceivable. there is a sit in a drive in and a drive thru and the sonic drive thru person comes over to your car in roller skates. its a made up cartoon store. it doesnt exist

rating: 5/5. we spent 20 minutes googling if you tip at sonic and in the end we drove off so my guilt prevents me from assessing it poorly

taco bell

what i had: it only sells tacos in like threes so i got three tacos.

what i thought: its like a dorito with a leaf stapled to it. why is it called taco bell? also, who am i, inside?

rating: 4/5. i flung six tacos in the microwave when we got back and i enjoyed watching them roll over each other playfully -  made me think of my childhood and the political conspiracy around my birth.

what i had: chicken nuggets at 2am

what i thought: it was interesting that about half of the items on the interactive menu ended with a ‘z’ rather than an s. while that was fun - i would not go so far as to say i died at sheetz but i certainly did not leave it in one piece due to the colossal spinning death blade embedded into the milkshake machine

I honestly used to respect people like The Quartering for standing up to feminism, even if only on a small scale by debunking their arguments on YouTube but haven’t you noticed how after demonetization, all these channels completely stopped attacking feminism in gaming and the movie industry and instead just bitch about loot-boxes and companies. Almost like YouTube threatens their shekels and they decided to become agents of communism, because attacking big companies is fine but attacking feminism and getting political with gaming culture is bad,

Anyways here’s what’s so annoying about these guys.

Loot-Boxes: Yeah, Loot-boxes suck, so don’t buy the games. Really, it’s just that simple. I have Overwatch and I’ve played a few times and I have never once purchased a loot-box in my fucking life. If the loot-boxes annoy you then don’t buy it.

“But what about these triple-A games with their loot-boxes mechanisms”

I’ll tell you teh same thing I tell the feminists who bitch about representation. Build your own games if it hurts you so bad. But you’re a fucking hypocrite for demanding government regulation against the things you dislike, but when feminists do the same you whine and cry.

“But it’s preying on children”

Where the fuck do the children get this money? Their parents, if their parents are letting them blow $50 on fucking loot-boxes, who are you to tell them they’re not allowed.  I mean by this logic, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards are gambling, both of which rely on the randomized model to sell cards to children. Like, the majority of children toys are randomized garbage intended to get the child to want their parents to buy them more in order to “catch them all” so by this logic we should ban cards and ban toys that rely on randomized model for gambling.

But know this, you’re no better than the boomers who demanded that Dungeon and Dragon and Heavy metal be banned for teaching children to worship the devil. I mean, obviously they were just protecting the children from devil worship just like you’re protecting the children from gambling. 

Censorship for your sensibilities is no better just because it benefits you, you’re still just a authoritarian asshole who refuses to take responsibility for yourself and your life and as such you demand everyone be censored for your sake.

I haven’t bought or paid for a star wars game in years but honestly I’m planning on buying the new game that comes out in November but I’m gonna wait for the reviews and such and wait for the price goes down and probably get a used copy. Because I’m not a child who demands the government take care of me. I have the mental fortitude to hold off on a game for a few months in order to make a informed decision.

Now moving on to the next point.

“Hur dur a dur Oh my God. Blizzard and Activision makes it’s employees work over-time to meet deadlines”

Have you ever worked in programming, telecommunication, marketing, or any actually competitive field of work? Like yeah, you have to work over-time to meet deadlines for game releases.

I worked at fucking Mc Donalds and I had been working 50 to 60 hours during busy holiday seasons because nobody comes to their shifts. That comes with the territory. 

But generally, the average game dev only works 40 hours a week, so it’s rare occasions when the deadline is coming up that they have to work overtime. So it’s so stupid that this is seen as a controversy. Anyways, there’s a reason so many employees are willing to work overtime in game development:

1. It’s highly competitive. Every programmer dreams of working for the company that created their favorite childhood game. It’s literally a meme of a meme, that’s why a lot of people go into programming itself. It’s just as competitive as animation, it’s hard to get in but once you get in it becomes much easier to spend a career off of it.

2. Most companies hire like 50 to 100 people for one project then they fire like 90% of them after it’s completed. This isn’t even a exaggeration because again, you don’t need 50 new hires to do updates and maintenance on the game and the system. So gaining as much experience you can to go find a new job is important plus if you don’t meet deadlines, that could be a bad mark on your future prospects, because again, this is a highly competitive field, and everyone wants to get in.

I mean you don’t hear people complaining that programmers who work in the health care industry are overpaid and overworked because that’s the non-glamorous coding job. There’s a guy on YouTube named Joshua FLuke who talks about the industry and you can google which programming jobs are the easiest to come by.

If you demand change, you should do something for that. Feminist or not.
