Fucking love your blog!! One time I was a really silly girl and asked Jason if I could interview him on Facebook, knowing I was just a fan who did random ass interviews with lesser known bands he still accepted and though the interview was no where near professional was amazing enough to stick through it. Agalloch is super important to me, so glad I found this blog!!

I’m so happy to get such a cute message ! I had the opportunity to meet them twice and had some facebook talks with Jason too (he’s really lovely) so this summer when i met them again (for the second time) they all remembered me from two years ago and it was really awesome to talk with all of them again. The set was great and I was front row with another huge fan and my now ex-boyfriend. After the gig, (i think) Aesop asked one of the crew guys to give his drumstick to me. So I came back home with a beautiful artefact to worship.
Anyway, I have a lot of work with school and some other blogs I’m running so fyagalloch is kinda on hiatus. BUT you seem to really like it so I would be very happy to lend you the keys by adding you as an admin. Please, tell me if you’re interested !

Yet another metallic masterpiece from the Portland band, The Serpent & The Sphere feels like a film shot out of sequence, with "Eureka!" moments hidden throughout.
So I guess a lot of you have already listened to The Serpent & The Sphere which is streaming at NPR.
I'm totally in love with it. I like this cosmic concept a lot but I'm also really surprised to realize how organic it sounds
Right now my favourite songs are : Dark Matter Gods and Plateau of the Ages. But the whole album is amazing.
