Basically, she's a vampire who was very lonely. Lived multiple mechs lifespans at that point, adopted a flesh moon, misplaced her flesh moon daughter, etc.

So she decided to make this teenager immortal by giving him his heart when he died because she wanted a kid. This teenager was Jonny.

Then she went around the universe with them collecting other dead and dying mortals like Pokemon who she then made immortal. The mechs were her backing band until she left for reasons we still don't know the entirety of. The crew say they airlocked her, but we know that isn't the full story.
