I just got busy and forgot to go back to it.

But I also hated everything I drew. Only now, 8 years later do I look at the things I did in 2016-2017 and wonder what made me think it was terrible.

But this lil fanart was cathartic at that time, as this silly little anime suddenly illuminated my feelings and shutdowns as I had navigated sports in my life.

This show was so pivotal for me in 2016, as I began watching casually until it morphed into a hyperfocus on this show that helped me to learn that my harsh inner dialogues and moods are a result of anxiety. This sparked huge growth for me, personally.

Yuri on Ice has meant so much to so many. I loved the story that packed nuance into every moment. Beautifully animated ice skating and a world that is anchored to the sport in the real world. A beautiful soundtrack. And queer representation, of course. But it was so much more. I will have to find time to rewatch.

Weird that I open tumblr for the first time in ages to find TS memes, and this cancellation is what greets me.

This 10 meter tall statue of Augustus looms over Puerta Cinegia Gastronómica, a dining/shopping mall in Zaragoza, Spain. Augustus founded the town as Caesaraugusta (hence Zara-agoza) over 2000 years ago as a colony for veterans of the Cantabrian Wars, and many Roman ruins are still visible. I now want to visit Zaragoza.
