I stumbled across an old furby blog, that hasn’t been updated since 2002, that had a post detailing information about the McDonald’s keychain furbs before they came out

However, what caught my eye was these things:

It looks like...McDonald’s was giving out ocean ripple furbies as a prize, a pattern that is considered unproduced

So basically this furby actually was produced but in very small quantities for McDonald’s.
