I think 24 got married straight out of college to the first girl who would say yes. His marriage fell apart because he’s ace, he never came to terms with it and has no idea what asexuality is so he just thinks somethings wrong with him. This was made worse by his ex getting with his dad (curse you Doug, you suck). He joins up as a henchman to get away from his fucked up family and quickly transfers to the fluttering hoard, he’s maybe 23 when they kidnap Gary? They quickly becomes friends, they just get each other. They’d have whole conversations with just stupid looks and raised eyebrows. They are so on the same wavelength that they’re borderline psychic lol. They start hanging out outside of work and watch tonnes of movies and sit around whilst Gary plays video games and 24 commentates. Gary’s mum assumes they’re together and (much like Billy) he never outright corrects her.
