I just spent the last month making my very FIRST fully colored and rigged 3d model(s)!!

I thought that a simple character design would be easier to make, but after 4 weeks of crawling around youtube tutorials and blender forums and feeding all of my trivial issues to my blender friend... maybe I'll just say I'm happy it's over 😀

Considering how (back then) lobotomy was seen as an actual way to solve misbehaving, I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, Newton really used to be the Pre-Beta's nasty villainous kinda guy. Or. Just a mean guy.

Either way they uh. They lobotomized my girl. A special kind of horror to losing yourself (twice).

Marlon only wears his hair down in front of Newton and only lets Newton touch his hair. Newton takes advantage of this whenever he can to play with Marlon’s curls.

They always have movie night on Fridays. And mostly, it’s just Marlon pausing the screen to ramble about the lighting in a scene or the soundtrack or subtext. Newton usually finds this interesting and always tries to pay close attention so he can understand Marlon’s interests better, but sometimes, he gets so distracted by Marlon’s “blinding beauty” that he forgets to listen.

Newton, after posession, developed heterochromia. One “eye” remained yellow, while the other remained purple. When Marlon saw him like this, he noticed the change immediately and didn’t know how to feel. But slowly, he began to find the change adorable and really fitting for Newton.

Marlon is half-mexican (and cousins with Gustavo) and was born in the spanish-speaking side of Manglewood. Newton is a white british guy with german/french roots due to being born in Stitchem Green.

Newton likes to yap to Marlon about his inventions and concepts and shows him constantly what he’s got in his sketchbook. Marlon is always happy to see them.

Marlon once hired Newton to be his prop designer for a sci-fi movie and Newton did great. They then decided to collab like this more often! (Scene to go with this: they’re having lunch and, out of the blue, Marlon asks: “Wanna be my prop designer?” “…Wha—“ “Like. A prop designer. Design props for my new picture?” Newton thinks for a moment and smiles. “Sure!” “AWESOME!! You’re hired.” “…No looking at my sketchbook? Nothing?” Marlon shakes his head. “Nope!”)

Newton likes headpats. A lot. Marlon delivers.

Newton likes to call Marlon by his last name sometimes, or by “Mar-Mar,” “Marzipan,” “Marbles” (since he helped Sackboy get the marbles for Oddsock), “Marmelade,” “darling,” “dearest,” “dear,” “love,” “honey,” “sweetness,” etc.

Marlon likes to call Newton “Pudding” (pun derived from his last name) or “love,” “angel,” “darlin’,” “honey,” “baby,” “babe,” “bae” (Newton hates this one lol), “Newt,” and by his last name sometimes. Occasionally, “Newty” slips out because his mom calls him that all the time.

They like to play-fight and “insult” each other. Marlon once got so flustered during their banter that he called him “bulbface.” Newton brings it up EVERY argument and it always defuses it and they burst out laughing, remembering. Making fun of each other is their love language. (Here’s a scene to go with this: Newton is taking a long time getting ready for date night and Marlon enters like: “Come onnn, what are you doing in there? Doing your hair?” Newton, having no hair, lightly throws a cushion at his face. Marlon laughs and says: “Fine, I’ll wait.”)
