What is Leverage, you may ask. Here’s a quick overview of my favorite show for @akkisuitok
- It is a show about thieves but thieving bad guys and giving the money to good guys!!! (kind of like Robin Hood, but modern day!!)
- It’s mostly episodic, but the character arcs are the real overarching plots of the seasons.
-He’s the mastermind, ex insurance agent, alcoholic, and in denial about being a thief. He’s an angst fest, but the others keep him in line. He plans the cons and always has a Plan M. He has a soft spot for kids and is a mess of human, so we love him.
- Then there’s Sophie Deveraux. What the hell’s a Sophie, you may ask.
- She’s the best griftter of the group, also known as the best actress you’ll ever meet off the stage. She is the most charming character, and wants to be a real actress, but the second she has a script, she has no skill. She is the caretaker of them all, and everyone who meets her is a little in love with her. And she can do every accent ever, which is always fun.
- He’s the hacker, and the smartest man you’ll ever meet. He’s a total nerd and a cinnamon roll and anti toxic masculinity. He’s cocky and sweet and incredibly loyal and makes geek references every chance he gets. He’s impossible to hate.
He’s the hitter, so he beats people up. And cooks. And sings. Basically, he can do almost anything. Except hack. He has no computer skills. And he’s done a lot of bad in his life, and has decided to now help the good guys, and he found hus family while doing it.
And last, but not least, PARKER
She’s the thief. She can infiltrate any building and not get caught. She’s wonderful. She’s deadly. She’s awkward. She’s naive. She’s ruthless. And she now has a family. She’s one of my all time favorite characters and her character development is amazing.
Anyways, this series is amazing, I love it so much, go watch it if you haven’t yet!!
