Love replaying Origins so that I can find little nuggets and wonder if they'll make anything of enigmatic details that potentially lacked context at the time. Bioware is particularly skilled at this!

Anyway, not saying Lake Calenhad is definitely a Well of Sorrow's-esque place of worship and consolidation of power for Dirthamen, but I'm not NOT saying that.

So in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, some artifacts you can find are "pantomime masks" of the Evanuris. I never really got a good look at them before grabbing them in game & there doesn't seem to be a way to look at them after collecting them, so I've been meaning to look at them in Frosty and finally got around to it!

After all, Dalish myths are very different from the real Evanuris.

And I want to draw the Dalish gods as various animals. Why shouldn't the other gods have animal forms too?

I drew Dirthamen, the keeper of secrets, as a bear. I like the Dalish tale of secrets and the bear who guards them. So, I think if Dirthamen were to choose an animal form, it would be a bear. And two ravens with him.

And his brother Falon'din, who leads the souls of the dead to the Beyond. Falon'din is, of course, an owl.
