YOU CAN'T MAKE UP DRAMA THIS GOOD!

The shittiest thing he’s done to Sadie was to fake being sick so he could go hang out with the Cool Kids. The shittiest thing Sadie did was to trap him on an island with her and Steven for like a week. 

The shittiest thing he’s done to Steven, was to blame his mom for the moss that ate the Cool Kids. He shouldn’t have said it, but it was a high stress situation that like a lot of the in world problems in the show was caused by Rose. On the other hand the shittiest thing Steven did to Lars is to leave him in space with gems he barely knows apart from they’re also to be killed after Lars died and was revived, and then Steven went on to help try to get Dewy reelected, started a band (which he didn’t tell Lars that he was the main reason Sadie was in a band when he showed him while they were in space the second time), went on vacation, before even trying find his Lion to go back and visit him. 

Followed by taking over his body so he can show everyone, including the audience, that Steven is better than Lars. Something that wouldn’t have to be done if you actually made a likable protagonist instead of every self insert I’ve made between age four to sixteen. It doesn’t fit in this situation because no one wants to Bella Twilight their way through Steven’s life. That’s way too stressful and there’s not enough reward for it to work.

He was also shitty to Ronaldo, but the show would like you to forget that they ever interacted because they introduced them as former friends but never did anything with it again, but if they did Ronaldo would have stranded Lars somewhere too I can almost promise you that. Because that seems to be a reoccurring theme with Lars.
