Drew these brothers, I love the colors in their new outfits! Though I couldn’t find a good picture of Ori in his costume and kind of took a stab at his outfit.

I really like the idea of dwarven nobility wearing these. Actually, I just really like the idea of dwarven nobility. Period. I want to see a period piece drama but set in a dwarven fort/castle/mine/thing. (pardon my lack of eloquence, I am le tired.) Like, Pride and Prejudice and Dwarves

Among most dwarves of status, this sort of overt flirtation, especially with a non-dwarf, is considered highly salacious. It would be cause for scandal if Dori weren't already known to be from a family rather fallen from grace. It's all a bit desperate really, and at least Oin's eyebrows are raised, even if no one else in the company much holds with stuffy old traditions. A slow enduring courtship might ensure a slow enduring love, but Dori's had quite enough slow enduring heartbreaks for one life-time--he simply doesn't have the time to waste anymore on subtleties!
