"The leftover stick in your teeth is the best part, it’s like snack for later!" Travis chuckled and sucked his teeth for exaggeration and smiled. "I’ve been good, a little out of it after my third favorite holiday, but that’s normal. How are you Holly Jolly?"

"If you say so." she laughed a little in return, moving her hair out of her face. "I'm glad you're doing well, Travis. I'm alright, myself. And if Halloween is your third favorite holiday, then what's your first?" 

"Thank you! Im pretty sure I gained like a jillion pounds but it was definitely worth it. Do you need some help eating yours? I mean it may be a bit tough for me but the kindness in my heart tells me to help."

"You and my brothers can have it, if you'd like. I'm more of a pastry kind of girl myself. Doesn't stick in your teeth as much." she laughed a little, running a hand through her hair. "How have you been, Travis?"

"I’m not used to siblings. I grew up an only child. Didn’t even have cousins. Really? What was her name? And mine is Noel, by the way. What’s yours?"

"I'm Holly. Her name was Isobel, I think? But, it's nice to meet you, Noel." She smiled a little, shifting her wight to one leg. "How are you liking camp so far?"

"I have, at last, eaten all of my Halloween candy.”

"Well congratulations. That sounds like quite a feat. I've still barely touched mine."

"Yea, but then Clarisse would kill the both of us." He laughed. "Fair enough. Being one of the few people you’re comfortable with does wonders for my ego, y’know"  he smirked. "Meet anyone nice, yet?"

"Not anyone new that's been particularly nice, no. But I did meet a pretty scaring looking unclaimed kid. He was clad in all black and his eyes were red-- like, all the time. Not like yours." she explained, head shaking a little. "Somehow I suspect he's not an Apollo kid."

Oh, good. You and I will get along just fine then. Tell me, where do I go if I’m…what was the word? Unclaimed?

That would be cabin 11. I can show you, if you want. It's the only cabin that actually looks like it belongs at a summer camp.

"Awww, baby, i didn’t mean it. You know I love you!"  He chuckled. "Well, it’s immersion therapy. Work on it faster"

"Careful, X. Those pretty brown eyes of yours might just enchant me yet, you know." she teased, smiling at him. "I think I'm alright with my slow pace of getting to know someone. It's less stressful that way."

"C’mon, now…….Don’t be so….Cold. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself”

"Yeah, I'm sure you couldn't." she said, sighing a little after she let out a short chuckle. "And I'm not acting cold, I just don't deal with large masses of people well."

Hm. I’m either gonna completely avoid you, or try to get in good with you. I don’t do well with rules.

Well unless you're in cabin 21, I can't really enforce any rules. I can, however, help you around camp if you need it or something of that sort.

"Why am I not surprised?" she asked, trying to suppress a laugh. She failed and it fell from her lips quietly. 

That’s what happens when you hole yourself away. Y’miss all kinds’a shit.

I was familiarizing myself with the duties as a cabin counselor.

She laughed a little, a soft blush dusting her cheeks. "Thanks," she said, grinning at him. "I like the stubble, by the way."

Wait-- seriously? Daymon? You've been gone for three months! You look so different. Good different, though.

"I don't know, X. New demigods may as well be aliens sometimes."
