The more sus Nihilux is, the more i believe she’s a fragment or mask of Aha… and the more I believe she’s gonna end up like Sunday.
If we go based off of what Nihilux claims she is - just a normal manga artist? Considering she’s writing based off our journey? It makes sense for her to tag along! First hand experience! Inspiration!
And then if we consider the idea of her being a mask of Elation?
That would be Aha (Nihilux) setting off again with Akivili (Trailblazer) once more, right?

We. That is an innocuous word choice - at a first glance.
Its not something you’d think much of to begin with right? I mean obviously Aha wants the Trailblaze to set off again.
But… there was no Aha alongside Himeko’s Akivili. Unless like, we’re counting Shush ig and i refuse.
Unless we count Motoko as her Aha, but.. Motoko didnt set off with Himeko.
But Aeons are often patient.
We have a proper Akivili with the Trailblazer now, in a way the other Nameless arent.
And Aha did not set off on Akivili’s journey to start. Whether they were one of Akivili’s first Nameless (which i made a post about awhile ago now - its on my masterlist actually if im not crazy and you’re interested) or simply joined Akivili’s journey as an Aeon later on… they joined later, after the journey had already been going for some time.
So… wouldnt it make sense for that to be the case once again?
For Aha to rejoin Akivili on their journey, not at the start, but later on when the journey had already left a story in it’s wake?
Nihilux also only ever manages to get more and more fucking suspicious istg.
Like i do genuinely trust her. I dont think she’s secretly evil. There has never been any hint to her having any antagonistic or hostile intent towards TB & the Express. Nah, she fucking adores Trailblazer & the Crew.. TB especially.
But i do not trust she is who nor what she says she is.

Why is she underlining the fact that Trailblazer will have the furbos always cheering them on?
The belief & faith of the masses is part of what fuels the wishpower behind the power of the supplicant masks.
Pointing out that there will always be the furbos cheering them on is.. innocuous, once again at a first glance. Its meant to be. But its curious, suspicious.
Especially when you consider the fact that Nihilux is the source of the Furbos faith in the Trailblazer.
The Furbos arent super op or give particularly strong wish power (however. It is fascinating thst unlike most other imagenae, they seem to be 100% unaffected by everything happening..)
They dont have to be. It’s seemingly a very subtle way to illustrate the fact that Trailblazer will always have people cheering them on…
A point she underlines again the line following this.
There are people waiting on her to write the next book, waiting on them to save the day.
They expect it from them. They expect them to save the day.
Its not meant to be stressful, albeit it is in a way.
Its meant to once again illustrate a point: they expect it from them, because they believe in them. Because they see the Trailblazer as a hero, and so will always expect them to act as one, will continue to cheer them on as one.
This is what i mean by “She’s suspicious, but not in an ‘she’s secretly evil’” way.
Her actions are too deliberate, she says things that allude to things she shouldnt know or have yet to happen.
This is her response to TB’s lil mini speech in the station shelter.
They didnt show the response of other playable characters. Just Nihilux.
And she’s.. hiding? Concealing herself from TB’s sightline.
Her response is strange as well! What does she mean by that?? She’s clearly pleased by what they said, or endeared.
We dont have context on this either! Is this gonna be in her patch???
This feels reminiscent of the Fulwish stuff, what with the TVs..

I genuinely dont remember the last time a character, in any game i play of this variety, has made me genuinely tweak out over their identity or general lore.
I need answers, aND SHE WONT GIVE ME THEM.
