this has been sitting for a long while, but i want to answer it now!
i could honestly never choose a favorite thing. i love that they are extremely passionate about what they love, that they stay... whimsical, id say, through anything. i love how casual they are, unafraid to be weird (although this ties into being whimsical)

this is a little funny because it started in an odd way. i hadnt realized it was an obsession until a little bit before i made this blog, i just thought i was extremely hyperfixated, or that they were a special interest. ive always had a habit of latching onto actors or characters, but its been a passing thing until now. i also didnt realize it was beyond having a special interest
it started several years ago actually. my entire brain was full of thoughts of just them, like no one else existed. i didnt want to engage with any other media, i only wanted to look at them and hear them and watch them. sometimes that leaves the forefront of my mind, if i limit contact. i try to do so, but as i said in my last answer, i like to indulge at times
in your opinion, how does it feel to be parasocial? does it consume your life, or would you, respectfully, consider it a just hobby? how does it relate to how you interact with fandom??

it feels all consuming, yes. it feels just like any normal obsession, except it comes with a higher level of delusion and a greater risk of being reality checked (even if not by others)
i can go from thinking that my darling is in love with me to realizing theres no way in hell thats a possibility. it can be very harmful, because it makes me extremely upset
it makes my interaction with the fandom very strange, and i keep it limited because i have a tendency to get jealous or angry, or even fall further into my delusions. erotomania is not a joke lol. its a lot like limiting my contact with my darling, so i dont feed the obsession. still, occasionally i indulge
