The time will pass anyway

Aaaaaalso: as a songwriter, it's very very hard to recapture the raw essence of early songwriting. The more I learned and developed, the further I moved away from something clunkier but definitely more direct. It's the difference between a joyful, unencumbered finger painting and a self aware, studied piece. Those early stages are so important imo!
