people saying that nepotism is a problem created by capitalism make me lose my mind. have you heard of this thing called "a king"
wedding dresses are white specifically so that if the bride goes axe-crazy you can rest assured you will see the blood stains all over her and it'll be sick as fuck

an occult reading of the right-click action
a left click is a click of engagement with an element, but it's engagement on the element's terms. buttons press, checkboxes toggle, inputs select. it's cooperative.
a right click, though, is a refusal of engagement. it's a violence - it states not that i will look at you, but *inside* you. a right click is penetrative.
oh, but it offers so many more options. it's a view of a world beneath, isn't it? it's a world you can only see by looking inside. don't you want to see?
*scowls quietly at yet anotherĀ ānot real communismā esque reply on an anti communism post*
Maybe the real communism was all the people who were killed on the way to the radiant utopia.
oh log weāre really in it now
Just want to share this:
I can't find the post now, but I remembered a Tumblr post going around about Canada putting up a memorial of those who fought against communism. And then they have to censor the fascist names that ended up on the memorial, which was like 90% of the names
Lowkey wonder if those gleefully reblogging around are saying that those who opposed communism back then were all Nazis
I have actually been accused of being a Nazi for being anti-communist, so. I mean. (That's in addition to being Ukrainian. I guess I'm like... a double Nazi? But I'm also a Jew. Yet I'm pretty sure I'm not self-hating like some of those Jewish Nazis floating around. Which I feel shouldn't be possible but. Whatever. lmao)
Historically the soundbite has also been reversed: "Yeah but it was only the communists speaking out against fascism." This dichotomy actually is nazi rhetoric, too. Anyone against the regime were communists. There were fascists then there were communists. Why? Oh because of judeo-bolshevism. It was THE way that the Nazis got people to fight on the eastern front. (It also leads to the headache of 'a lot of Jews were commies!' when in fact in that atmosphere you either joined the socialists or communists (2 different parties) or you got hung out to dry.)
The dichotomy doesn't work anymore. But one of the big books on communism was written by ex-commies. Communism burned its citizens hard and quick. And burned them out in gulag. But the indoctrination was also so insidious that it didn't stop people from supporting the Party. They just tried to do better. They excused the people who convicted them. Citizen interaction with the party was like with an abusive spouse or significant other. It wasn't the Party that was wrong, ever. It was the comrade.
The abusive-relationship comparison is illuminating. Your life is largely controlled by a power above you that constantly holds you responsible for any failure. Escape is dangerous. You try not to stick out, to carve out some private space where you can carry on.

Seeing the only popular Jewish blogger in a big fandom insist that ppl "listen to Jews" about a problematic fictional ship only for that same person to do the obligatory turn around and go "b-but I'm not one of those dirty Zionists I swearrrr" ššš I stg these token anti-zionist Jews piss me the fuck off they are so fucking hypocritical and delusional
Ofc this is one of those delusional idiots who thinks Magneto the Holocaust survivor and former Israeli citizen who worked for the Mossad somehow isn't a Zionist bc he doesn't fit the fictional version of Zionism they made up in their head š Any Jews who are looking to get into the comic X-Men fandom give up I promise it's not worth it
.
In line with how this is just a fandom for so many people, they think the only real issue for Jews is "representation" in fiction.

you know what I donāt think I written or thought about horror themes and just realising how right you are
especially if itās already established like yeah thereās sum supernatural goin on āere, yep thereās probably a ghost around (itās definitely a ghost), it might just be around the corā oh yeah there it is, ghost! The ghost the story hinted since the start, the ghostly ghosting ghost!
EXACTLY! i can hear scooby-doo music in my head mocking me the entire time. and then if the ghost does something i'm like oh of course, typical ghost behavior to do something creepy. real original.
#laughing so hard rn#im thinking about a comedic horror dunkbaelor moment and its just the stupidest set up#Dunk is the quote on quote ghost but his ass is fat and so Baelor does not take him seriously#does it make sense? what if Dunk died in the trial of seven and haunts baelor forever#but in a funny way exaggerating horror theme#i am high from sleep deprivation chjsjfjf
unfortunately i do see
@oncosis this is incredible but also please get some sleep
Why is everyone so mean 2 him š
