Whatever the case, YOU’RE IN LUCK. The poll you see before you is, in fact, the beginning of something at least marginally cool (and that’s some egregious downplaying on my behalf).

Every so often, fans will come together and take a bunch of notes and lists, throw in their own spice or bake it into their art, and create an entire galaxy of incredible work based of the mere outline of a story. I guess you have to see it to believe it (anyone familiar with vat7k? No?), but what I’m saying is… a lot of people often like to imagine an entire show dedicated to Ford Pines’s adventures (yes I know we have journal 3, where do you think we’re getting the content from?). But something of that scale takes a lot of time and energy, things that people don’t exactly have much of nowadays. Enter @bad-holmes-impression, an example of such. I’ve been a long-time lurker of their posts, and may I just say their ability to analyse and expand off of media is astounding, inspiring, INCREDIBLE. If anyone could make an epic Portal Ford story it’s them (just trust me bro). Now, rather than burn out energy they don’t have and can’t spare, they considered taking the 70+ chapters worth of notes and just… releasing them. To all of us. Essentially an unwritten fanfiction, all the bones ready to be meated, a fanfic to make fanfic of, a concept to develop in each of our own unique ways… a social ecosystem of creative collaboration!

Short version: they have a list of cool ideas but need some encouragement to get them out there. They’re not as active in the fandom as they once were but don’t want their ideas to go to waste, and neither do I! Let’s all team up and vote for one of the YES-es (you don’t have to commit yourself to art/writing if you don’t want to, because you can easily chip in later with that if you change your mind) to show them that we value ALL creativity and ideas, or whatever other reason you might have, idk.

I’ve been reposting this in a few different Gravity Falls communities so that it gets that widespread attention it needs, but you guys can help too!
