i think what made count the rice so awesome (if ominous) is that it harkened back to game changer’s fundamentals which is the only way to win is by learning and the only way to learn is by playing. i love the game changers where they get no instructions and it’s more puzzle based because that’s what season 1 game changer was really founded on.

noise some makes is one of those game changer episodes that i don’t think would have worked NEARLY as well if they didn’t lean so hard into the bit of it. and on a related note this was kaylin’s personal circle of hell and i hope she got a fat healthy bonus for her work in this episode. but god DAMN did she make the entire show. excellent showing from the whole cast but there was something about her misery in particular that really sold this one. an instant great for her alone. can someone check on her tho

i find it funny how seasons 1-3 of community were able to achieve writing in a zombie apocalypse, a war, a dictatorship, and more without any of it being a dream sequence or someone’s imagination and season 4 couldn’t even write a paintball episode without making it all in jeff’s head
