ARE FRENDFACTORY ORDERS FOR PHYSICAL PRODUCTS?
Generally speaking, FrendFactory orders are just art requests that I gave a theme thatâs a bit of a cross between a factory and a restaurant.
However, if you include the desire for your Frend to be obtainable when putting in an order, it will be added to my RedBubble shop where you can buy it on physical products.
Buying a product from RedBubble will cost money, which I will get a percentage of. Tipping me or sending donations through somewhere like Ko-fi or PayPal will not go toward any physical product from RedBubble, nor from me personally.
DO FRENDFACTORY ORDERS COST MONEY?
The order itself is just an art request with a fun naming schtick. Itâs completely free. The Order a Frend button just takes you to my askbox where you can send in your request.
Buying physical products from RedBubble and/or tipping me is completely optional. Iâll have more time to fill orders if I have people tipping me or buying stuff from my RedBubble shop, but itâs not strictly necessary.
DO YOU FILL ALL ORDERS MADE?
I really will try to, but the realist in me will be honest and say, probably not.
If I get 10 orders in a day 5 of them are more interesting than the others, those ones will end up getting made while the others sit in wait. (And 5 orders filled in one day would be some wild productivity on my part.)
Here are things that will make me more likely to fill your order:
Send your order off anon. I will be posting orders as original posts instead of answering asks, because Tumblrâs algorithm favors original posts. I will be tagging the person who sent the order. If you send your order on anon, I wonât be able to tag you in it, which means less engagement with my followers and requesters, which is less appealing to me. I do this primarily to engage with people, so I like to see whoâs ordering what and get to know people.
Donate to me. As much as I wish this didnât affect the likelihood of your order getting filled, it really does. If you donate to me through my tip jar, Ko-fi, or PayPal, put your order in there as the donation description, and include what username to tag you at, I am more likely to do your order because itâs more of a commission than a request. However, donating or tipping does not guarantee I will fill your order - especially if itâs particularly demanding, unappealing, or inappropriate.
Donât order something Iâve done before. If you want to put in an order thatâs not ultra specific, or that includes popular or common elements, check my tags to see if Iâve done something similar already. I will tag all posts with the animal or item, as well as the simplest descriptive word for any accessories included or traits present. (e.g. If you want to order an energetic sparrow with a birthday party hat on, check #bird, #energetic, and #hat. If Iâve already got an energetic robin with a birthday party hat, try thinking of something to set yours apart a bit more.)
Donât include references. If your order includes an item from a show, a personality comparison to a character from something, or any real life brands/teams/organizations, I am less likely to do it because it involves research on my part.
Keep things straightforward. Your order doesnât have to be the epitome of simplicity, but thereâs something to be said for minimizing extravagance. Extremely complicated poses, detailed or fancy props, like, idk, a saxophone, or other things that involve concentration and a lot of extra time are a lot more likely to sit in my inbox gathering dust.
ARE THESE LIKE ADOPTABLES?
I think the spirit of them is similar to adoptables in that I am drawing a creature for you, itâs cute, and itâs unique.
What makes these different is that:
Theyâre made-to-order. So, theyâre not in a batch of adoptables that Iâm auctioning off.
Theyâre free, unless you choose to make them not free.
You are not getting the rights to the artwork. You are free to use your Frend for things without monetary gain (icons, headers, etc.), but the right to use the artwork professionally and make money off of it is mine alone.

I take commissions on my website and youâll find more information there regarding payment, restrictions, and so on.
