do u ever debate whether or not to engage somebodyâs shitty comment so you go to their blog and 8/10 times its just
ok but the blogs of 9/10 people who liked and reblogged this post in agreement are just
moral of the story: stop being condescending and mind ur business
Alright
what is going on here like actually
asexual pie chart, by me
Regular person: You don't fancy a shag
None of these are an actual thing except asexual, and none face any systemic oppression. I donât care about how many sexualities you make up but donât group yourself in with our community especially if youâre straight.
Asexual here.
No lies were told. If you're not wholly asexual, you're not asexual. Just like you can't be 'kinda lesbian' (you'd be bisexual) or 'kinda straight' (you'd be bisexual), or 'kinda gay' (you'd be bisexual), it's quite literally all or nothing. NO sexual attraction. A little is still something. Only nothing is actually nothing.
And again:
ASEXUALS. HAVE. NEVER. BEEN. OPPRESSED. FOR. BEING. ASEXUAL.
Any oppression 'we' have faced has always be because:
asexuality was confused for closeted homosexuality
'we' were women
That's it. Have asexuals undoubtedly faced horrors in history? Of course! And technically every group has! But have any of those horrors, personal, political, or otherwise, been because of their asexuality? NO!
I saw those disgusting comments, and Iâm asking those of you who are acephobic not to interact with me or my posts; you arenât welcome here, and I donât care what you thinkâyour opinions are completely irrelevant. Asexuality will remain part of the community and will continue to be a spectrum, even if you whine about it; just grow up and stop hassling people.
so many of you really do think that you can be born with an organ that makes you a rapist, and you don't seem to understand that sexual abuse is a product of imbalances of power
oh lord i am in the long haul mode now

Seeing someone you follow reblog one or two posts about womenâs rights: hell yeah
Seeing someone you follow reblog six or seven posts about womenâs rights: red flag red flag red flag red flag-
supporting women's rights is a red flag?
Iâm sorry are you a transgender terf? Damn how fucking stupid are you Jesus Christ.
Itâs insane how some people feel so entitled to bisexualsâ privacy because they want to decide if we are queer enough
god forbid a bi girl is actually bi
I dont like how "reclaim" has turned into "can use against others in the exact same way it always has been and equally offensively"
I do not trust/like people who say things like âkill all menâ âproud misandristâ âI hate all menâ because number one, I think believing anyone should die for being the gender they are is stupid, two, bio essentialism and gender essentialism is a terrible concept, and number 3, I think just framing men as these creatures who is in their nature to kill and rape and all that takes away accountability from the man who did those crimes to just be like âoh men are just like that.â
Thereâs also another point where people who say these things also wish harm on trans men as well which is disgusting. I hate how people act the second you actually start to look like a man that suddenly your the âenemyâ and itâs okay to start to treat you like shit and outcast you from any community you once found safety in.
Iâm not a MRA or whatever someone might call me, i just donât believe in treating others like shit for their sex or gender.

Man I miss free the nipple. Its getting warmer and we donât even have free the nipple anymore
feminism has backslid so hard in recent years people don't even know what free the nipple means anymore
Clark has got to be one of the best-written horror antagonists in recent memory, and the thing I love most about his character is how the film makes you understand his hardships, while at the same time not using them to justify, excuse, or downplay his actions.
You really get a clear idea of how his own hardships inspire the bad decisions he makes. And at the same time, it doesn't pull any punches in showing you the consequences of those decisions, which ultimately resulted in the creation of the Captain Clark entity.
Yes, I don't doubt that he was going through a very difficult time in his life, but it goes without saying that it doesn't give him the right to lash out at everyone and make their lives difficult. And it sure as hell didn't give him the right to take out his frustrations on his spouse or Mary!!!
That's why I love (to hate) him so much! He's not some run-of-the-mill mustache-twirling villain. He's understandable, relatable, and even sympathetic! And at the same time, the film is smart enough to not use those things that make him understandable, relatable, and sympathetic to excuse the harm and hurt he chose to inflict.
P.S. Mary's crashout on him was absolutely glorious to behold!
While I havenât even seen this movie, I feel that its important to acknowledge that he is in fact a rarity when is comes to black characters in horror and how important it is that he is able to have this massive amount of character depth as a black charcter.
There is sooooo little black characters that get that depth EPSICALLY if their in an all white cast so the fact he's getting these analysises, fanart, and appreciation brings me so much joy( not to mention people on tumblr calling out the favoritism for the white guy that got limited screen time)!!
I kinda wanna watch the movie now, ngl
THISSS OMG, I couldnât have said it better, I love reading peopleâs take on his character and every analysis of him that I come across because HES SO WELL WRITTEN, because at first youâre not quite rooting for him and then later youâre like âAwh, you did shitty things and I feel bad but you need to be held accountableâ and in the end he was! His manifestation of rage and selfishness (Captain Clark) killed him off! I LOVE NUANCED VILLAINS! And I especially love villains who become aware of what theyâve done, once he saw the flaws in his views he still chose to stay that way, and I feel like thatâs what caused Captain Clark to kill him, itâs because once again, even after Mary had yelled at him, he chose to still be selfish. His selfishness killed Katherine and Bobby, and in the end it also ended up killing himself
The guy with a Nazi tattoo is a rapist? I mean, yeah that tracks, what exactly were you expecting.

I know minorities arenât a hivemind, but I swear politics feels like the ONE area where there should be at least some universal self-preservation instinct. Seeing marginalized people support conservatives is like watching someone stand in the rain arguing the flood isnât real while the water reaches their neck.
Sometimes Iâll see a blogger thoughtfully try to guess at why aspecs were bullied so hard during ace discourse, but they like never get it right because people here are really averse to admitting that the whole thing was a radfem psyop designed to split up the community because radfems hate queer theory and solidarity and anybody whose identity isnât just âgayâ or âlesbianâ.
