Foxtrot's Braindump

This morning, I woke up in a really rough state. In order to clear my head, I decided to install the new brakes I got for my bike. Come to find out after getting past the point of no return, (having removed the old brakes completely and installed the new front brakes) the brake lines were far too long to safely ride with. I tried taking them off to trim them down, and discovered that the fittings for the lines are single use. New parts and tools are on order, and they should arrive tomorrow. I'll post an update soon.

I think my nerves are getting to me. I woke up to me tearing into my scalp in my sleep, and the itching won't stop. I think my nerves are getting the best of me. If the itching doesn't go away I'm gonna need to see a doctor.

Apparently you aren't supposed to use normal bike tires on an 80lb ebike that regularly reaches 40 miles an hour, and often travels 20-30 miles twice a day... Oops! Guess I'm saving up for some endurance touring tires! The prices may be murder in comparison, but I'd rather buy expensive tires once than cheap ones every few months!

For the amount of money I save with this thing, I may as well drop some cash for good parts! Hence why I'm throwing some hydraulic brakes on there too. Just waiting for the wiring harness to show up so I can splice it into the drivetrain control module.
