Sure! :o It's foxish-draws though my profile is currently empty. I still haven't decided if/how much I'll participate (especially since I fucked up my hands AGAIN because I'm an idiot) but I did decide that even if I don't end up doing anything, I'd still put some characters in there. Figured it could be cool to have a repository even if I don't end up being in the fight.

Depending on how my hands feel when it comes time for it to start, I'm thinking I might try to do like a couple. 2, maybe 3, really limit myself so I don't get too tempted to do too much too fast and hurt myself. Again.

Regardless, I plan on using it as an excuse to tweak the designs of a couple ocs.

As it stands, the odds are decreasing that I'll participate in my ✨ Very First Art Fight ✨ not due to my hand health, but because apparently they've decided to be weird about allowing you to use references, including poseable 3D models and even photos you take of your own self, which like.... what?? I was gonna try to do the event for fun, not to litigate the merits of basic ass methods of figuring shit out.

Regardless of whether or not they see the error of their ways, I'm still going to continue trying to do some updating on oc stuff. I already started, so I might as well finish. Now I'm just not sure if I'll bother uploading them to the site.

As far as I can tell??? They've decided to be less weird about things. I decided to use my mental draw break to slightly modify my Kayne. Mostly little tweaks to the outfit, I knew I wanted to add a red flower and turns out a red carnation means "my heart aches for you" in floral symbolism. And that felt pretty fitting. 🫀 Bonus pair with The Manager, because I had this thought when I saw Naomi Osaka's dual Met Gala look.

I've been going through updating my OC things, but I think I need a break from it. x_x I don't know what I'll end up drawing in the meantime, I just need a quick lil something that doesn't have the underlying motivation of "fixing" or "updating."

Created and seemingly abandoned by the big bad, Reave is a massively dangerous creature left to their own devices. They decided to use that freedom to party. Quinn was sent out to Deal With™ them but, realizing something was off, opted for communication instead. He discovered they're no longer under the thumb of their old boss and thus, Reave was recruited to the good guy squad and Quinn was put in charge of making sure nothing goes wrong with this little arrangement.

Since I gave ART a horde of tendrils, I had the idea that it attaches them to whatever it's currently keeping track of. Which led to "what happens if its favorite little idiot suddenly has a significant portion of its attention?" And it also gave me an excuse to work up an idea for my own version of Murderbot.

I lied, I did end up with a Murderbot draw idea. I just got stuck on how I would portray ART, this unfathomable Creature™ of a bot brain. And then I had the epiphany of combining a black hole with a basket starfish and it was perfect.

Mayfly is the Big Bad™ of this particular group of OCs. He sacrificed everything he was to become a horrifically powerful beastie, because processing grief normally is for losers. He has the unique ability to turn others into monstrosities by lashing them together with other creatures/people/energies using Secretions™ from his mouth. Sort of like how bees build hives, except it's crocheting together people's bodies and souls. He's firmly devoted to his goal of unifying the split existence of the living and the dead, because if he succeeds, it really just means eternity for all.
