So, there's a new vigilante popping up, right? Supposedly.
The baseline, surface value theory is that it's a particularly skilled concerned citizen who has some form of self-defence training.
Sounds pretty solid, right?
Well, I personally disagree!
So, after scrubbing through some surveillance footage in my spare time (don't ask), I've noticed some pretty interesting things! For one, this 'vigilante' only seems to appear to assist Batman and some of the Robins, very occasionally helping out some street kids and old ladies while he's already out. And I use the term 'vigilante' loosely, mainly due to the sporadic nature of the assists?
I also noticed that the fighting style displayed seemed really familiar. So of course, on a whim and a gut feeling, I did some digging. Started scrubbing through some very old security camera footage (again, don't ask) and found out something pretty groundbreaking!
This 'Nameless' has a very similar fighting style to Batman, similar but not identical. There is a perfect match however, one that opens up a lot of doors for theorizing.
The second Robin, the one that disappeared after some incident years ago. His fighting style is identical to this Nameless fellow.
My theory? I think Nameless is the second Robin, I believe he's distanced himself from being a vigilante, at least fulltime. If this is true, it would make sense why he only comes out to assist the Batfam and doesn't really take on any solo missions.
Uh- okay wow that was a lot, I think I ranted enough for now...
Um! Let's not tell Tim that I almost slipped back into my conspiracy rabbit hole again, hm?
