Reddit is a genuinely godawful website. I remember getting into a fight with another trans man on there who claimed that the MeToo movement personally contributed to his low self esteem because "Even if I'm not a woman now I saw myself as one then and when people say all women got sexually harrassed it made me feel undesirable as a woman". Like oh boo fucking hoo I'm so sorry that those abuse survivors dared to talk about the things they faced because it made you feel like you weren't desirable. I'm so sorry that some people have been traumatized by cis men and that they didn't shut up about it so you could feel better about the womanhood you don't even have. That must suck for you.

Like no actually, you're not allowed to feel sad about being excluded from survivors' spaces if you're not a survivor. You don't get to feel insecure. The only thing you should be feeling is sympathy for the people who do experience it, and gratitude for your lack of trauma. I genuinely do not care at this point. Your self pity is pathetic.

i’ve only ever come across like, 4 or 5 trans women on the internet that actually say all the bullshit transandrobros would have you believe all transfeminists say. the majority of transfeminists love and support trans men, and just want us to recognize our privilege and use it to call out bigotry, specifically transmisogyny. i wish trans men would stop falling for the psyop that trans women are all evil meanies that hate us for no reason, because it’s really pathetic.

saw an article about an AI startup trying to make drones that would obliterate mosquitos and it literally made me cry like that 4 million dollars they spent could have gone into malaria and yellow fever research or spreading money to areas where they need nets and healthcare due to mosquitos like the answer isn’t killing an entire species from the planet it would destroy ecosystems and leave massive holes in the food chain for birds and other animals not even considering that mosquitoes are pollinators themselves like i truly feel like one company should not have the ability to literally just decide if a species should no longer exist and then execute an entire population like that like i feel like we should have a fucking say 😭

We’ve been using one, and they’re great. Might try to make the double filter version this year.

I’ve personally used both the flat single-filter version AND the triangular two-filter version, and based on subjective personal experience I would argue that the benefits from the second filter, both in terms of airflow and filtration, are absolutely worth it. If you need a makeshift air filter and you have two filters to work with, build the triangle (if not the box, i have no idea how good that one works but based on the info here i presume it’s a fair bit better.)
