Hi. Just wanted to say that i really love your tedbecca fics. I’m currently reading Pieces of us and i just love how you write Ted and Rebecca. It feels like I’m watching the show. In case s4 will be disappointing i will just go back to your fics lol. I hope you will write more stories with these two.
Oh, thank you very much 💜I'm tuly grateful for the support.
Also, don't worry. While I have no idea when I'll post my next story, I don't think I could stop writing about them even if I tried.
TED LASSO IN EVERY EPISODE — 2.08 “Man City”.
would you ever write tedbecca baby fics? wether it be full on AUs or canon compliant/divergence stories? 👁👁
love your writing to pieces 😉
You're very sweet, thank you so much! ❤️
There's an AU I've had in mind for a really long time that may involve a baby (but it wouldn't be the main plot tbh) but I haven't made any progress on it because it would be a long story and writing takes me forever... Plus I've been hyper-focused on canon compliant stories for a while now!
The whole idea is stored in my drafts somewhere though... maybe one day! 😏

Nothing good comes out of a middle-of-the-night phone call. It’s never someone calling to say they got the job, or that they’re engaged, or that something finally worked out the way it was supposed to. Those calls wait for morning and a version of the world where good news has room to exist. A call that comes at night only ever means something has gone wrong, that someone is awake when they shouldn’t be, choosing words they don’t want to say. And somewhere else, someone is about to answer, not knowing that whatever comes next will divide everything into before and after.
When Ted faces a personal tragedy, Rebecca boards a plane without hesitation.
ok so I also have a lot of Thoughts about Hamnet (dir. Chloe Zhao 2025) and most of them can be summed up in "go see the movie" but
I just keep thinking about the part where Will tells Agnes the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, a story that always ends, that must end, with the two lovers being parted.
And then there's Hamlet, both the character and the play. Hamlet is a tragedy, it always is, and nothing can change that.
Hamlet must die. But so long as the play is played, he never dies alone.
As the ghost says, "remember me." And we do. We will always mourn Hamlet so long as his story is told. It isn't going to change the ending but it might, in some small way, change us.
watching hamnet like. wow. did you know that your art can express emotions unnameable to your audience? did you know that your audience's reaction to that same art can transform transmute elevate those emotions into something beyond your imagination?
“I had this kind of... crisis. I was alone in the house again, lying in my bed, crying. I know everyone lies in bed crying, but... Someone said praying isn't really talking to God. It's acknowledging the despair. To throw yourself on the ground because that's all you can do. Not unlike lying with your heart broken, thinking... ‘Please, call me.’ ‘Please, forgive me.’ ‘Please, take me back.’ And… I had fucked up. And I was alone, and crying. And then, for the first time, I sat down on the floor... and prayed. I don't know who I said it to, but, I said it out loud, ‘Help me, I can't do this anymore. I can't do it alone. I want a home. I want a home.’
—Rachel Kemp, then later read by Nora Borg (from Gustav Borg’s script), “Sentimental Value” (2025) by Joachim Trier

It's such an amazing feeling when someone picks up on something in your writing that you 100% intended but didn't think people would notice. Like, YES!! My writing properly conveyed the thing it was supposed to!!! You are so awesome for noticing that!!! I am so awesome for writing that!!! I feel so good about my story now!!!!
God I’m a sucker for characters who are so utterly loyal to someone that they’re completely unhinged. Characters who have no moral compass except their overwhelming devotion to whoever they’ve chosen to listen to. That’s the good shit
Despite knowing the journey and where it leads, I embrace it. And I welcome every moment of it.
