Another victim statement from Emma/JediAnnieScrambler on X. It’s very dishonest DARVO. Again. This is a point-by-point response to the thread posted today by @sapphiccjcregg / JediAnnieScrambler. All screenshots are unedited.
To: Emma/JediAnnieScrambler and friends.
I am going to address this, only because, as you’ve said, this has been going on “6 months.” In reality, it’s been a 7-month bullying/harassment campaign from you and your friends toward FTR. It started September 7, 2025. At that point, FTR had no previous interaction with you. They contacted you to join your server, but she discovered you’d blocked her. She found it unusual, given the lack of interaction and the Mirandy fandom being fairly small, so she wanted to know why. Of course, you can disagree on whether she had a right to know or not, but the curiosity was and is natural, especially when there isn’t an apparent cause.
The next week, around September 14/15, she mentioned she didn’t like your fic and jokingly said that it was a spite fic. The joke was retracted in the next message immediately. Again, given that you already had FTR blocked, you may already have had a negative impression of them and the knee-jerk reaction was to assume malice. However, it was casual conversation and in line with other conversation in that channel in the past. You were not being singled out in that interaction. In reality, it would have been better to have 1) blocked FTR on Discord then, and/or 2) tried to have a discussion there and then about how the statement made you feel. Of course, again, you are not obligated to do ‘hash it out,’ however you do have the power to curate your own online experience. I am sure FTR would not have minded you blocking them in the server.
However, it seems like you and your friends might have later found the humor in the situation as you and another member of The Den (your server) even quoted FTR:
Or maybe not? Because in October 2025, it seemed like your server disbanded and members mass joined That’s Mirandy. From this point on, your behavior, along with that of your friends/former server members, gets weird. To begin with, FTR didn’t engage with you. You even acknowledge they were “ignoring” you and seemed to want their attention:
From this point (on the same day even, October 31st to November 1st), it seemed like you and your friends/Mirandy Girl server members decided it would be more fun to actively (rage) bait not only FTR but the entire server in order to get attention of some kind:
This is odd and counter-productive in a fan community. That’s Mirandy has always been a community where Mirandy fans discussed fic ideas and fleshed them out. That process involved asking questions and giving feedback, as well as hearing other people’s opinions. Some of which you may not like, but that’s the name of the game. People have always been free to say what they don’t like, too. It’s how people challenge themselves, get outside their comfort zone, learn about other people’s tastes, grow in their work, and maybe change their minds for the better (if someone wants to talk about why they do like a trope, for instance). You seem to understand this as you had no problem with Nico/cevia when they don’t like certain fics, even calling XVnot an anime villain for defending Harrytoad from their Anon comments:
That’s one aspect of the channel that seemed to cause you to paint FTR as a villain. The other was the discussions around Mirandy fic ideas. When it comes to brainstorming, people in the server tended to adopt a “yes and...” approach to help each other flesh them out. I think there was a cultural clash between how it was in the Den or other servers you have been in and the way people interact in That’s Mirandy. In that channel, FTR interacted with you the same as they did with other members of the server, however, again, combined with your past dislike of FTR, I think that led you to feel as if you were being unfairly targeted when she asked you more questions about your world building and characterizations. Someone responding to you is not ignoring you, like you said FTR was doing above. This is them trying to engage you and include you. Unfortunately, instead of blocking or having an honest discussion with FTR (and others) about how you’d like to be engaged with, you and your friends/Mirandy Girl Server members decided to characterize this as ‘drama’ as time went on (still early November 2025):
I think this characterization as ‘drama’ only served to make you feel more defensive and created a bogey-monster out of FTR. You and your friends/server members seemed almost excited for the potential for a fight:
What is particularly disappointing about the last image is that FTR is really trying to engage the user (one of your friends) politely and you’re looking to coax a negative reaction about your fic from them. Based on what your friend reported back, it seems like you wanted FTR to say something so you could continue to talk about her but were disappointed when she responded outside your negative expectation of them:
At this point, you have to wonder: what is the goal of this? What do you want out of ‘rage baiting,’ talking behind someone’s back, constantly engaging with someone you do not like, some you feel doesn’t ‘click’ with you in a fandom way? The natural reaction would be to block or to ignore and move around them. Instead, you kept choosing to interact and to interact in a negative way with the help of your friends. Worse than that, on November 4/5, you intensified your harassment campaign.
It seemed to start with a normal question in the writer’s channel about world building that quickly turned into ageism and a dogpile:
Afterwards, you and your friends/server members still characterized this interaction, which started from a simple question about world building, as “rage baiting.” It’s still unclear what purpose it served. It was also selfish to turn the writer’s channel into your own playground in an attempt to bully someone:
By the end of this, it seemed like you got what you wanted, as FTR curated their own fandom experience and decided to leave a server where multiple members were hostile to them out of the blue and without reason. This should have been the end of it and everyone in your camp seemed excited:
At this point, it seems like all should be good for you to enjoy That’s Mirandy in peace, now that FTR is gone. However, even after they left, you and your friends/former server members seemed fixated and intent on harassing them, even outside the server:
Even days after she had left, you still seemed fixated on FTR and were monitoring her Tumblr soon after in November 2025 and her Instagram (in December 2025). What’s even more confusing if the claim that FTR “started” it although it’s unclear what FTR started. It seemed like all FTR did was be someone you don’t like, which you’re free to do, you don’t have to like her, but she didn’t “do” anything to you or start anything. In contrast to your claim, the beef was one-sided and it was entirely on your side:
You and your friends/former server members even sent FTR hate anons that ranged from biphobic to ageist, mirroring sentiments said between you and your friends. Despite all this, FTR doesn’t engage and doesn’t take the ‘bait’ because they don’t have any issues with you or your friends/server members:
There is more harassment that goes into January 2026 and February 2026 (including a friend of yours DMing FTR, for some reason), which culminates into your post on Twitter where you characterize FTR as the harasser. This whole time it’s been you and it’s really strange that you are continuing this campaign against FTR when it’s not clear what they’ve ever done to you. You’ve tried your hardest to paint FTR as a bad person; you’ve tried to bait them, and ‘rage’ bait them. You’ve tried to ‘trick’ them into doing or saying something that will fit your narrative. They haven’t because, to use your own words, you’re just making up stories about them in your head.
It had been 7 months, perhaps more, since you decided you didn’t like FTR. At this point, you aren’t in the same server and don’t have to even interact with them, yet you continue to find ways to engage them. It doesn’t make sense and it never really did from the start. You don’t have to like her, but it doesn’t make sense you keep harassing her for nothing except for the fake that she maybe gave you the ick and you don’t know how to deal with it. It’s hard to believe when you write on Twitter that you don’t want this to become a harassment campaign against FTR based on your past activity. I think you do. I think that’s probably a call to action rather than a discussion, and again, I ask, what exactly is your goal? I sincerely think FTR doesn’t care.
In reality, I think Mirandy has become a chore for you, something you go through the motions of liking, and that’s why you’re able to dedicate so much time and energy to randomly disliking a stranger on the internet that you don’t need to interact with at all. This is all I have to say on the matter. It’s based on what I’ve seen. I felt that your post on Twitter was weird. However, considering FTR has moved on with their life and continues to enjoy Mirandy, I will, too. The world is on fire in more ways than one; life is bigger than this and hobbies are meant to be a small distraction from anger, sadness, and all the negative feelings in life. It’s a huge privilege to have this positive space at all and it’s a big reason why it’s important to call out harassment and keep things as fair/balanced.
I sincerely hope you reconnect with what made you gravitate toward Mirandy in the first place and that fandom becomes more than just trying to ragebait people & manufacture drama to feel something. If not, that’s up to you.
