An intro post (hopefully that will stay this time)
Hi Hello! I'm Ghost or Axon! I'm an artiest and writer of a multi fandom nature, though my top favs you'll see me post about are, OC's, Legend of zelda: four swords adventure manga, really any LOZ thing! my primary posts in some of these fandoms will be my all time favorites, which for LOZ:FSA is Violet Link, I'm a very slow writer so you'll primarily see my art! My blog is fully SFW but i would feel more comfortable if Minors didn't interact with me if possible.
I can be pretty shy interacting with people but i'm always happy so see chats in reblogs or asks :) I try to post when i can but apologies in advanced if i suddenly drop off the face of the earth, i'm more consistent in posting in discord servers and those i'm actively in are few and far between. My Dms are only open for commission's though if you have any inquires you'd feel more comfortable asking in Dm's i don't mind, but please respect my boundaries. With Asks please feel free to send them! as long as its nothing explicit (of the sexual variety) I promise i'm quite friendly and i won't bite ć¾(ā¢Ļā¢`)o
You can also find my on Toy house!
I'll talk a little more about my current projects below the cut!
The current projects i have going on are mostly Legend of zelda related though i do have a few original stories i'm slowly picking back up! (though my motivation lies with Vio and loz characters)
LOZ:
Death and rebirth of the fourth, an LU au i have where the chain meets Four last, except the Colors are permeantly split as Gannon had taken over hyrule and when the chain arrives in the era of the four sword they find not only this out but that the fourth hero of hyrule sacrificed himself for his brothers safty and is now bound in servitude to the forces of gannon. AO3 post with art and some lore bits
Fallen Hyrule, A green apocalypses au where Gannon was killed by an unknown force and unleashing a strange curse across hyrule, the heros scattered and the princess believed dead, it follows as Shadow, Vio, and Zelda navigate the land, try to find the missing heros, and uncover just what it is that happened that day. AO3, master post
Post cannon Au, a mostly slice of life thing, there is some small story but mostly its just small fics and art of the colors+shadow+zelda's lives after the cannon events of the manga. AO3, the colors
Linked fates/The second hero of the four sword, A link verse story! except it stars my Link Oc's! i have to many of them :) the main link it follows, and the / half of the title, is Gold! a hero of the four sword that was raised by the spirits that reside within, though after losing his Zelda and going down a villain arc, Gold woke up in a strange land after he had been defeated only shadow remaining in the sword, Now while working with the other Link's to figure out where they are and why there there, Gold is sent on a series of dungeons to gain forgiveness and reconcile with the only family has left, while maybe making a new one along the way. Golds TH, AO3 (coming soon, again i'm a slow writer)
Original:
World of Farla, An original world with mini storys, lots of world building, and so many characters to populate the world! there is no over arching story, and most of the lore is mostly just in TH profiles of the characters in this world
World of Haler, once again a big world with so much world building and characters i it, only this time it has a vauge over arching story: Terra is dying, and so to with it the the woven strands of life and magic is unfurling, and its left to a reaper and young god of death to figure out how to fix things and figure out what could kill such a powerful god.
If your interested in anything then please feel free to ask! i tend not add proper tags to reblogs, so really you can use any tag to try and find an original post. sorry i don't tag things very consistently, i'm trying to get better at it i promise!

when someone is completely fucking wrong about your blorbo but you don't want to argue about what basically boils down to opinions about shit that doesn't matter so you just sit there like
ok but legitimately i think the reason why kids arenāt taking internet safety seriously is because the people who are telling us not to put our personal information out seem so out of touch. no one acknowledges the possibility of meeting very real teenaged friends online, they always say that everyone you meet is a 40 year old white man in disguise. because they arenāt acknowledging things we know are true, it becomes a lot easier to dismiss the rest of what theyāre saying as well. internet safety lessons absolutely must keep up with the times and acknowledge the internetās capacity for good if you want kids to take to heart warnings about its capacity for bad.
1. Have proof they're a teenager first. More than just a picture, have a video call with them.
2. If you want to meet up with them, have your parents or a trusted adult come with you. Even if they are a proven teenager, its still good to have supervision in case any issues happen.
3. If you are talking to an adult, and they start being sexual in any way, you run the fuck away. It doesn't matter if they're 40 or 20. An adult inherently has a power dynamic that teenagers do not. And its up to the adult to act responsible about it. There's exceptions of course, if you're 16 and dating an 18 year old, that's not a problem, we're not talking about that.
4. Being in a server with adults or ran by adults is not inherently bad. Talking to adults is not inherently a problem, and will likely happen in any number of Discord servers. It is only an issue when they are acting sexual and show predatory behavior.
5. Look out for grooming behavior. It can be difficult, because at first it seems like innocuous behavior, like complimenting or giving gifts. Especially if you feel lonely and have low self esteem. And groomers actively target people like that.
If they start trying to isolate you, talk sexual with you, state they depend on you for emotional needs, blame you for their own actions, try to be secretive about the relationship- Then you need to talk to people you trust, block the perpetrator, and call the police on them.
6. If this does happen to you, remember this: It is not your fault. Even if you didn't listen to a single thing listed here, it is not your fault. It is the fault of the adults who knew better, and didn't care. It's not your fault.
To my followers: if any of you guys are underaged, please be very VERY careful on here, and donāt fall for any of the tricks the groomer would use on you, just block them and report them.

I asked one of my (male) friends to stop using the phrase āman upā and he has been using āfortifyā for the past two weeks instead and itās just a little thing but honestly it makes a difference
and tbh itās also pretty funny when I start to deflate in the library and he leans over and goes āFORTIFYā
I know I already made a post to this effect but it's so baffling to me when someone defends the fact that headphone jacks are slowly but surely getting phased out by smartphone manufacturers with some variations of "wireless headphones are more convenient anyway" bc like. If we're talking about convenience what I like about wired headphones is that they conveniently have a single plug that makes the same damn pair of headphones universally compatible with every single audio-output-capable device I own, from my phone and my computer to my fucking gameboy and my casette player, it doesn't get any more convenient than that.

Another round of art fight pieces! This time watercolor addition first two are attacks, another on @lonksadventures (look I just really like their designs ok)and @anime-obsessed never watched or read pmh so I hope I drew their Eridian alright!
Sure thing! For convenience Iāll refer to the guy with his arms in his pockets as SG (shorter guy) and the one on the computer as TG (taller guy).
In the first panel, SG sees TG playing on the computer and is disappointed.Ā SG puts a lot of value in the idea of āmaking things,ā specifically āart,ā and thinks TG is just wasting their time
So he asks them if they wouldnāt rather be āmaking somethingā instead of just playing games and listening to music, implying that TG isnāt doing anything worthwhile or creative with their time
But TG replies that āinterpreting is generative,ā meaning that even if they spend their time just doing fun stuff, the mere act of enjoying something is creating an experience and an interpretation. Talking about something, dancing to music or sharing a piece of art with your friends ISĀ āmaking something,ā and each of those can be worthwhile and artistic.
SG leaves, complaining he ācanāt be an auteur of [interpretation].ā Auteur is a movie term that refers to a filmmaker with artistic control and vision enough to be considered essentially the singular creator of the resulting work of art. Turns out, SG doesnāt just want toĀ āmake things,ā he wants to make things he and others see asĀ āimportant.ā He wants to make art not for the sake of art, but for the sake of being recognized and praised for his art.
This comic really speaks to elitism within the artistic community, the idea that art needs to meet certain standards to be considered art. SGās viewpoint is really traditionalist, that art need to beĀ āapprovedā and validated in order to be consideredĀ āreally art;ā while TG recognizes that art can be as little as just talking about what you love.
TLDR: Art is for everyone, not just some sort of social āartistic elite.ā

I collect antique slat back chairs, but I donāt seek out perfect museum pieces. I want chairs that have their histories written on them.
I recently purchased this slat back chair from an antiques mall in Maine. My hunch is that itās an 18th-century chair, made in New England.
It has a decaying woven splint seat and part of the top slat was broken off at some point. You can see the top slat no longer has the middle rise that the two other slats have.
But the chair is still ramrod straight and just as square as can be. Its two front stretchers (the pieces that brace the legs) have a nice amount of wear on them where many many decades of sitters rested their feet.
Itās been at least three colors in its life: first blue (and possibly even green), then red, and then black. It was probably painted black around the first half of the 19th century when Hitchcock āfancyā painted chairs came into fashion. Hitchcock chairs were commonly painted with black lacquer and stenciled with gold.
This little slat back chair would have looked very old fashioned in its red paint compared to the stylish Hitchcock chairs. But instead of discarding the slat back chair, the family that owned it updated it with black paint and gold details. The chair must have meant a lot to the family for them so make such an effort.
You can see the gold detail on the beautifully turned acorn-shaped finials.
You can even see gold detailing along the tops of the slats, which tells us that the top slat must have broken before the first half of the 19th century.
Evidence that the slat back chair was well-loved can also be seen in a repair that was made to its back stretcher. When the original back stretcher broke (did it break at the same time as the top slat?), it was replaced, but it seems the family that owned the chair did not have access to a lathe, so they carved a new stretcher by hand. You can see the ridges in the wood left by the knife, compared to the smoothly turned legs and the other stretchers.
Being able to read the history of a chair on the chair itself feels a little like looking back in time. Everything about this old slat back chair tells me it was a precious possession to the family that owned it. And now itās my turn to be its keeper.
