The bottom one is a carriage harness on display at the Galerie des Carrosses in Versailles. There it's shown alongside one if the coronation coaches, which I would describe as an elaborately decorated chunk of gold drawn by six horses. I love the detail on the leatherwork and would love to see these harnesses in person one day. They're beautiful, in the "hang on is that what we're spending our countrys budget on?" sort of way.

#don’t look at the scroll frame that I got for my cross stitch which I immediately abandoned #because I bought some interchangeable tiny circular needles to work on the sweater that’s been half done for approximately two years #am making progress on the sweater though! got too small for the circulars so it’s magic loop time but they’ll be good for the other sleeve
