“i’m your horcrux” is 100% the tomarrymort rendition of “i’m pregnant, and you’re the baby daddy”
1. both revealed with the intent to either merely inform, or still that, but with the side effects of being emotionally debilitating, manipulative in its bid for compromise, or staggering with the force of multiple revelations: regret, denial, manic joy, possessive fervor, or all of the above.
2. both imply there being a piece of someone else within them— accidental, but nurtured (?) and looked after (?), nonetheless.
3. both were made possible thanks to the involvement of a, typically, sorry excuse of a complicit party— sometimes turned partner, sometimes thoroughly damning in character and literally no more than that.
both are, simply put, a sticky situation.
i rest my case.
