About Me - Name: Forest [redacted] Smith Age: 24 Birthday: October 27th Occupation: Cook at Sea Shanty Shack Relationship Status: Single Hometown: Aurora Bay Time in Aurora Bay: Forever Neighborhood: Ocean Crest
Forest grew up as an only child in a broken family. His mother was hardly home, always at work or out doing who knows what. It was probably best that he hadn't know at the time and never figured it out until he was older. His father also worked a lot but he worked the overnight shift meaning his days were spent sleeping, though of course not without a few beer bottles at his side. So from a young age Forest had to learn to take care of himself. Make breakfast, get dressed, and make his way to the bus stop so he could make it to school on time. Unlike the other kids, he loved school. It was the place that he could escape and feel even just a little normal.
When Forest had gotten a little older, his days were spent at a neighbors house. He was friends with the kid(s) who lived there and their parents quickly caught on to his living situation. After that, Forest was always invited to stay for dinner and spent many weekends overnight.
It wasn't until Forest was about fourteen that he had fully moved in with his neighbors. No longer wanting to be associated with his parents, he started going by a fake last name 'Smith' that he still uses today (besides official documents of course). His neighbors completely took him in as their own. Buying him clothes and whatever he needed for school. Forest has considered them is real family now, like they really were his sibling(s) and parents. Then when Forest got older and close to dropping out, they encouraged him to stay and finish school. They gave him a push and motivation like a true parent. His grades weren't great but it was enough to walk when he turned eighteen and that was all that mattered.
Forest had moved out shortly after graduating, though he had thanked his new family for everything they've done for him and still stayed in close contact with them.
Moving out when he wasn't financially ready was Forest's first mistake. He found himself in many bad situations but found his way through them. It wasn't until very recently that Forest had secured a good job and was doing much better in life.
He began working at Sea Shanty Shack as a dish washer. Moved up to buss boy, then quickly became a cook. It changed everything for him and in recent days, he finally has a secure place to live and out of the 'troubled lifestyle'.
Though he tries to put his bad childhood behind him and be thankful for what his neighbors gave him, he still has hard days. Days where he's still angry and aggressive, but he tries to spend his day as chill or unserious as possible. Current Connections: Sister - Logan Wilde
Wanted Connections:
Childhood friend - His neighbor who he was close with and their parents ended up taking Forest in as their own. He still considers this person his family.
