"Bet that helps." Nikki chuckled. Linda Keaton on the other hand was all that and even worse. "I guess my..idea of self worth being tied to how people see me." she chuckled. "I mean, I could say insomnia but..yeah, no..it's not my forever rock bottom I guess." she rolled her eyes. "It's both my nature and nurture, I'd say. Grew up in a competitive household, heavy expectations and all..very high praise, very high pressure too. When I was the best at something, it was an all time high but when I wasn't..I was a letdown."
[ πͺ ] what is your museβs relationship with their parents like? was it always this way?
"Complicated is a fine word for it really." Nikki offered. "My family has certain expectations; who we should have become, who we should present ourselves to be. It was always a race really and the toughest competition shared my dna, you know." she sighed "I know they... I know my parents love me..us..but their flavor of love was always more of a brand or pr and it didn't translate well."
[ π€ ] how does your muse approach intimacy? are they hesitant, or do they like it? what types of intimacy do they like and dislike? (ex. physical intimacy, sexual intimacy, emotional intimacy, etc.)
"Ask anyone, I'm a physical touch kind of monster. Hugs, cuddling, leaning against someone, holding hands, nudges..." Nikki listed "Casual affection makes me feel secure. But I hate being touched when I'm mad. Take notes." she held up a finger.
"I like..emotional intimacy, the whole..knowing someone, having a private life with a person, jokes and secrets. And I like sex." she huffed as if it was a no-brainer. "I'm not so fond of verbal intimacy for some reason though..like praises poke my people pleasing tendencies and it gets me-ssy really quickly. And the one-sided intimacy..that's a red flag for me; it..it has to go both ways, in any shape or form, that's fine, but..it has to go both ways."

"I mean I'm not exactly struggling here but...okay" she rolled her eyes.
"I'd start by travelling the world; not just the big cities with the touristy stuff, but the little places, the hidden gems. And I'd buy a house, tiny or huge, in every place I loved a little more so I'd be able to go back there anytime I want." she smiled. "I'd kind of Monopoly the world in a way..a nice way."

"Honestly? I'm going to really piss you off with this, cause it's vague as hell but..." she paused. "My life." she clapped her hands together.
"I love my life. I have a damn great life, you know. Sure, I have my lows, plenty of them, privately, no lie." she chuckled. "But I love my life; I have parents who are flawed but actually care about me, my siblings are..jerks but they'd turn into mobsters for me. I have a good job, a really cute apartment, I'll never struggle financially, my cousins are awesome, I have great friends I love... I mean, people dream of this stuff!"
