Idk I just think it's interesting that the second Sam isn't there to perform for, Dean doesn't even look twice at Emily (the pretty girl of the week) in 1x11 Scarecrow, which just serves to highlight the fact that half the reason Dean flirts with girls in the first place is because Sam has already made a comment about it and he's constantly performing a certain kind of masculinity for those closest to him, if there's no one there expecting Dean to be a womanizer he doesn't pretend that he is

cas loves hanging around while dean cooks dinner and in the past he would simply sit at the table and listen to dean talk as he explained what he was doing, just happy to see dean at ease without any kind of interest in cooking, and when they get together and he isn't an angel anymore and the world isn't ending and their kitchen is miles away from the bunker he still doesn't have any interest on learning how to cook but he doesn't sit and wait anymore he cut the veggies for dean and he refuses to get involve in the difficult parts of the process as much as dean tells him he is there to help and whenever he can he steals and eat the ingredients and he still listens to dean's explanations, and dean is even more at ease now and castiel can do what he always wanted to do, interrupting dean with as many kisses as possible

people will see dean driving his own car that was given to him specifically as a gift AND which he himself ended up picking out when he time traveled, effectively making the car even more his, which is also portrayed as a metaphor for his own body and soul, and be like: hmm is this dean being an abusive control freak? 🤔
