the final scene of swan song pisses me off so bad :) sam was literally out of the cage like. days later. and he doesn't tell dean. for a whole year. dean spends that whole year drowning in grief, not really even present in his life with lisa and ben, thinking his brother is not dead--no death would be easier--but being tortured by lucifer in hell for all of eternity. and bobby knew. and cas knew. and sam knew. and dean could've been spared that grief and spared from growing attached to lisa and ben when he'd ultimately have to lose them bc their lives are incompatible and they'd always be in danger being tied to him. like they all could've saved themselves the suffering but nooo, everyone else thought they knew better what was best for dean.

Tfw going to a drive in movie theater to see a movie, sam and dean in front cas in the back. It's going great except every few minutes dean full body turns 180° to talk to cas, and sam is getting pissy that hes talking through the whole fucking thing when it was HIS idea to see it in the first place so after twenty minutes of indignant inner monologuing he kicks dean and tells him to shut up, and obviously dean kicks back and now they're fighting in the front seat and cas is weaving his head around trying to see anything until he just gives up, rolls his eyes, and uses his strength to push them back into their respective seats by the shoulder. Sam huffs and goes back to watching and sulking meanwhile dean is now just trying to will his dick to go back down. Anyway none of them remember a thing about the movie by the end but hey, beats cable

Idk I just think it's interesting that the second Sam isn't there to perform for, Dean doesn't even look twice at Emily (the pretty girl of the week) in 1x11 Scarecrow, which just serves to highlight the fact that half the reason Dean flirts with girls in the first place is because Sam has already made a comment about it and he's constantly performing a certain kind of masculinity for those closest to him, if there's no one there expecting Dean to be a womanizer he doesn't pretend that he is
