One of your charr* has returned to / is visiting the Black Citadel. Unbeknownst to them, while they were away it was decided unanimously that they would become the new Khan-ur to unite the Legions.

How do they do? What do they do?

My answer: Aikarico is immediately corrupted by power and spends a week lazing around in her office being waited on hand and paw. After that first week she gets bored and tries to do actual administrative stuff, full of hubris that she alone can fix every problem the charr have.

She cannot.

Infrastructure needs to change to accommodate actual housing, completely abolishing and rebuilding of the Fahrar system -> this stops meaning warbands and starts going into generalized education. No more child soldiers, yes to being able to choose and nurture other occupations.

Gladium and charr who have left the legions are welcomed back with open arms and an entire system is put in place to integrate them into this New Legion Society, this would ALSO mean encouraging artistic talents and it would at the very least see a HUGE boom in charr art and culture.

The Ascalonian catacombs are completely under lockdown. Speaking of, more energy gets put into seeking ways to set the spirits free vs battling against them. This would not go over well with the black citadel, He would put heavy restrictions on the most dangerous parts of Ascalon while pushing survey teams, working with the priory, and only doing approving specialized pre formed group vs entire batallions unless one of the bigger ghosts reform where it becomes necessary.

The charr will have a military cut between all 3 legions, hes not like, stupid, but the amount of charr that would rather stay in the comfort of their lives as soldiers vs being more willing to become something ELSE would be...probably shocking to him. But its not that easy to undo peoples entire upbringings when charr culture is literally centered around violence and war and also propaganda.

Yes there would be riots, yes there would be uproar, yes there would be chaos, we dont have to worry abt all that rn. SO TLDR

Dismantling Militaristic upbringings, Projects into better communal housing and infrastructure that encourages longterm stay vs the expectation of being drafted into the next battle of 3 days is less permanent. No more child soldiers, more uplifting familial units while the idea of a warband becomes something akin to children who are kept together as they go on whatever general education route at the same time instead of switching students.

No more needless deaths to ghost in ascalon, doing whatever he can to prevent that but also means restricting areas of it entirely but putting a huge effort into cracking down on finally ridding adelbern's curse once and for all.
