One thing that occurred to me today, but this if this is in fact the end for Ol Mitch McConnell, then it is indeed a fitting one.
The shitty little troll who stole two Supreme court seats from us (one by stalling against Obama to wait out the clock, and then the second one by rushing through RGB's replacement before Biden could get into office) is now being basically used as a puppet because the GOP don't want to risk his spot on another special election that they might lose.
No care, no regard, nobody mourning him. The dems see him as a miserable piece of shit who fucked the Supreme court, and the GOP are just using him as a corpse puppet until they can get his replacement in at which point they will chuck him into the trash. Even his wife just fucked off to China and hasn't been back since he went to the hospital.
For someone as obsessed with his name and legacy as McConnell was, I can think of no better send off.
Also I hope they throw out that fucking display of him at his old Alma Mater that's only there because he paid them to put it in.
