Today cousin and I drove to the house where our relatives lived.

Met two family friends there and was able to give one a big box of books and the other a small box of books and two of the big stoneware pots - our aunt already took one my mom used to make Sauerkraut and gave the other one away. Family friend was really happy to get these!

He will get trestle tables at a future date when he has some help to put them away.

I am really glad that this is done.

I'm trying to finish the season finale of a horror podcast, but as a hiker I keep being distracted by the characters:

It's in the UK so I guess they don't have to worry about cougars or bears or wolves but if nothing else these guys should be eating shit roughly every thirty seconds

There's a hole hiding under the moss! Suddenly existing stones! Roots! A rotting stump! An anthill! A broken branch on the trail!

There was a Sticky Gecko in a party bag, and now my morning has turned into that of Chilli Heeler.

It’s been stuck on the roof repeatedly, because Darling Child saw it in a Bluey episode and decided she was onto a good thing. Usually it cones down in a minute or two but it’s been a solid 20 minutes now.

And Trash Bag would very much like to be the one to catch it.
