I’ve been doing more research into past bridge crew’s personal lives to see if I can employ any tactics to ensure my success in Starfleet recently, and me and Rutherford were talking about how a lot of famous officer had pets. I mean, Commander Data had a cat, and it was a great way for him to learn to socialize. Maybe pets help exemplify your responsibility to the higher ups? I’ll have to ask about possibly getting one of my own. My family had dogs back on Earth when I was a kid, so I have a little experience.

I am now realizing it can’t be a cat 🫤 That would make things weird around Dr. T’Ana and I’m in sickbay way too often to jeopardize that relationship. Maybe something more exotic?
