3. He was saved from human trafficking or some international child kidnapping and was given protection.

4. Akemi and Rei were still in contact though as ZERO ( who wasn't related to PSB or black organisation in akemi's eyes)

5. He tried to warn Akemi many times of akai shuichi

6. He considers shiho miyano as his younger sister

7. He somehow met Akemi sometime before her death and promised her to protect shiho as his own sister.

Finale🤣 extremely random

8. Rei Furuya searches for kaito kid and finds kaito kuroba. He's well prepared on most of the facts and confronts kaito-kun. He makes a deal of investigating kuroba toichi's death in return for shiho miyano's wareabouts. Kaito being the smart ass he is figures out bourbons real identity as Rei Furuya and states some teasing facts like he didn't want to kill shiho miyano, he can't disguise in front of a master of disguise etc etc....

So well... Rei investigates kuroba toichi and realises that the original kaito kid- kuroba toichi was an undercover PSB agent. He got killed because of some rat inside PSB that revealed his identity to the organisation.

During this investigating he also realizes that kaito had an elder brother who got kidnapped from the hospital immediately after birth. And that brother is none other than Matsuda Jinpei.

He's very much able to empathize with kaito-kun. He now has developed brotherly feelings towards kaito.
