I’m sorry I’m turning into all the people that hurt me. What I’m trying to say is that I never answer your calls because you’re telling a story I forgot the words to. You’re spelling out the alphabet and I see only in numbers. I’m trying to say that I kissed you and my lips felt empty but I did it anyway. What I’m trying to say is that these days when I tell you I love you, I find his words in my mouth. I find him in my eyes when I look at you. What I’m trying to say is that I’m feeling less like myself. What I’m trying to say is that I used to love more than this, I’m trying to say that I lost it. You have so much to give and I can’t stop myself from taking.
