Move to fucking Bellevue if you want a brand new shiny apartment building to live in! Stop knocking down historic buildings and pricing out/shutting down family owned and community owned and small businesses, instead replacing them with “gastropubs” that are the pet projects of amazon employees! This is one of the oldest buildings in Seattle and it’s landmark protected but developers can say that there’s no reasonable financial return on their investment if they purchase a historic protected or landmarked building so they can tear it down so they can “get their money’s worth”!!!!! I fucking hate Seattle y’all! There’s literally nothing good left here! I’m scared to even move away because everything will be leveled when i come back!
